Game was busy before the official launch, never had a queue at 11AM EST though on Jung Ma before. Primetime? Hell yeah, offpeak hours though... Half the servers I can see listed while queued are full with 10-20min wait ETA while the other half are light. Population has literally exploded with official launch, yet everyones worried about 6 months from now so servers that were 1hr queues during primetime are going to be like 3hr tonight. |

It's annoying to see the new players stacking on the already full servers, what the hell is the point? They like to sit in ques? |

I reserved names on several new servers this morning. When I can play the "main" in the off hours, I will--but I'm set up to survive the month by having somewhere I can play during QueueTime. In a month, the 30 day free lookie-loos will be departing, which should alleviate most of the big server issues. I just wish WoW hadn't "trained" the MMO player populace to sign on to already high-pop servers. |

in my exp its always better to have to many on a server then to few. you might have to suffer a little bit for better overal game play |

People choose heavily populated servers because when you don't, 2 months down the line there's no-one to play with. They may also be in a guild that has already chosen a server. |

Originally posted by Kuinn I started on 14th and there is no way I'm leaving my 2 20s now. Problem is, everyone is preparing for a 1, 3 and 6 month drop off of players. What I don't get, the amount waiting in queues is enough to turn a few currently light servers into heavy. People need to coordinate and pick one to gravitate to, (those that aren't settled). |

Originally posted by Wycliffe I don't personally consider a one week time investment "settled" yet. Months invested, capped out, sure--that's settled. Maybe that free week wasn't such a big boon after all. |

Yeah this is no good. Its not even 10am (my time) and I am looking at a 30min wait. Just wait until primetime tonight and the masses will be very angry. Those of us that got the early access already have ties built up so even if they offer server transfers they will be hard pressed to fix this. I guess we really should have seen this coming. Such is mmo life. |

What Bioware, and every MMO company, should do is offer free transfer periods during the first year or 6 months. Say after 3 months, discretely let people on dying servers move to a more populated but not full one. People who start solo and aren't at endgame so soon after launch would just roll on whats open knowing they can leave for greener pastures in the near future. |

Btw, anyone have an idea what servers are capped at? |

Originally posted by Wycliffe It's varying. They are adjusting caps to make full servers still look full + queue'd when it isn't prime time. Good thing BUT you need alternatives for new players to make characters on, which they didn't do in the case of RP-PVP servers yet V_V |

Bioware needs to lock certain servers, seriously. 500 person queue at 11am? If new people are joining in today, funnel them into new servers, if playing on existing over-full servers with their friends is important, they should have come up with some world pass type of thing like old FF11 for existing people to invite their lay joining friends. Shadow Hand doesn't want any new players. We Don't Like You. Get lost people. Hey TSW Players http://www.unfair.co/tsw-guides/ for Mission guides, Lore Locations and stuff.... |
