If your looking for games like WoW DON'T go with Eve...its a space sandbox game (though feel free to try it out if you want something different). Some good games similair to WoW are Rift or the soon to be out Starwars the Old Republic. Each have a $15 monthly fee. As for F2P Lord of the Rings Online and Dungeons and Dragons Online are both good. |

If you like WoW, go with Rift. I like to think of it as the next generation of WoW. (let's face it, WoW is old. It's like what WAR was for DoAC..but less shitty of a game...if that makes sense.) |

If you bought a gaming keyboard and mouse than Darkfall has the funnest controls and gameplay.
If you are looking for the best graphics than I would go with Age of Conan. NEWS FLASH! A bank was robbed the other day and a man opened fire on the customers being held hostage. One customer zig-zag sprinted until he found cover. When questioned later he explained that he was a hardcore Darkfall Online player and knew just what to do. |

OP says he like games like WOW and people are recommending him EVE and Darkfall. Wtf people? How many servers SWTOR will launch with on release? ShredderSE - Umm how many do they need? Maybe 6. Thorbrand - SWTOR doesn't have longevity at all. Might be one of the shortest lived MMOs. |

For the OP: I would check out games like Aion, Forsaken World and that kind of stuff. |

Originally posted by onthestick Ya. Maybe they misread and thought that the OP was asking for games that are completely OPPOSITE of WoW. Try: Rift- free trial to see if its your cup o tea Aion-goes F2P soon ToR-when it releases |

besides Rift and SWTOR, which were already suggested, you can also try Lord of the Rings Online (it has both f2p and p2p options) |

Originally posted by Sid_Vicious While Darkfall isn't something to recomend to someone looking for a game like WoW lol, Age of Conan is a good choice. It has the graphics and such to warrant a gaming rig and the games like a grittier version of WoW with a bit of a twist on the controls. Aion would be a second choice as it is not to far behind AoC in graphics. ToR wouldn't be bad either considering it's new and has a large player base though it won't make you feel that a beastly gaming rig was a warranted purchase.
