I am not, I went with Bounty hunter in the open beta a few weeks ago got to level 11 or so but TBH didn't feel right, Think I am just goona go with my gut when game goes live and hope of the best.

I was going Sith Inquis/Sorc but... due to overwhelming popularity... I will most likely go Sith Tank now.

Honestly, I am still trying to decide on which class to roll first out of my favorites. Every time I think I have it down, I second guess myself.

Right now I'm thinking Assassin will be my main...but that will likely change in an hour or so.

I'm not.  I did Bounty Hunter in beta and absolutely loved it.  Unfortunately, my guild is going Republic, and although I really enjoyed Trooper as well, I didn't like it quite as much as the Bounty Hunter, oddly enough.  Might be due to the story.  I was thinking of going Jedi Consular, but everyone and their grandmother is going to be playing that.  I may just go with Smuggler since I'm not sure that's going to be real popular due to the cover mechanic scaring people off.  

I may honestly just roll one AC for each archetype (tank, healer, melee dps, range dps), give them all different crafting skills, and level them all to level 15-20 and go with the one whose story I like best.

torn between trooper, BH and SW. Probably going to go Trooper after watching Clone Wars all weekend. I know the troopers are not clones in swtor, but I love the armor, albeit slightly different.

I've been debating back and forth and have found out the list of classes I don't want to play is smaller then the list of classes I'm considering. 

Not Considering - Agent, Smuggler, 

Considering - Consular, Inquisitor, BH, Trooper, Knight, Warrior

BH was the highest I got in Beta (to 16) and they were a ton of fun, but I tend to play melee classes.

If I could give one piece of advice, it'd be to just ignore any silly "popularity" polls when it comes to making a class decision, trying to be "unique" in your class choice is juvenile. Don't sacrifice a choice just because someone else picked it first.

Oh and ignore any reports of prowess, because realistically, no one knows jack shit about the classes, even the extensive testers because the enviroment for testing and the real game enviroment (especially in regards to pvp) are vastly different.

Reading the TOR books is trending me toward a damn Sith Warrior lol.

I want to play a smuggler, my issues comes in with the AC, I don't know which to choose....

Still haven't made up my mind because of the following 2 points and I keep switching between them depending on what posts I read, hehe.

1. Jedi Guardian - Pro's: only 1 lightsaber, play the game like your a Jedi from the movies. Get yourself a Padawan (Kira) which is awesome for immersion. Cons: you're only fit to tank. This in itself is not a problem, but I don't know if my server will have a shortage of DPS or Tanks/Healers. So the chances are I level up the wrong class. I hate having to spam LFG for 3 hours just to get a group.

2. Jedi Sage - Pro's: playing as female (I'm male) and I get only 1 lightsaber (which I love) plus I get the awesome looking Senate looking gear at higher level. I get to heal and healers are always needed and I hear the DPS is not that bad so leveling won't be harsh. Cons: playing as a female. Since I'm male I really have a problem with this since I like to imagine I'm the character (so story choices will be my personal choice even't if it means Dark Side point when I'm trying to go Light Side).

I haven been thinking about the above since the Thanksgiving beta and I still have not decided. Launch is coming so close now. I have to choose!

Sage has to be female?

I loved the BH class. This was the class I wanted to play with from the start and based my betas on, but find most of the classes catching my eye. Prob the Agent is my least fav, as I haven't touched him in any of the 4 betas I've played. But may give him ago at some point. TOR is the first MMO I've played where 99% of the class I found calling my name for attention. Not even sure about BH now lol.

Same problem here. I loved the class up until level 10 in beta. I leveled two toons to 10 to try out both directions and wasn't all that happy about either... Probably going to level something else first and come back to smuggler when I'm more familiar with everything because the AC choices hold a lot more weight than in other MMOs. Pretty big difference in how you play one vs. the other.

The problem is the Senate gear looks like a gay man's outfit on a male. That's why I'm forced to play as a female. That way you get the kind of wise and diplomatic look like Amidala.

EDIT: The best example would be the headgear on this page (http://www.swtor.com/info/holonet/classes/jedi-consular) imagine this on a male.

Beta put me off Smuggler a bit, now I cant even decide on Empire or Reb :(

Smuggler, without question.  Wheres my WOOKIE!

Imperial Agent > Operative > Medic ftw.

I didn't find any of them fun to play but the combat just felt really off to me, it just didn't have that great speed and polish of WoW's. Even though I don't like WoW, I still think it has the best of any MMO that ever existed because Blizzard just nailed it perfectly. Funny thing is I haven't ever liked combat in a Bioware game, they can never seem to get it right, though SWTOR is the closest they've ever come. 

II'll probably go Trooper though simply because you just have massive weapons and can blow shit up. Everyone will be going Jedi so that feels like such a cliche to me and all the Jedi haters will be going BH so I'll skip that. Smuggler and Agent were themost boring to play, I cannot see them being popular until they get buffed and become FOTM.
