Edit2: Reports are coming in that the CCP Christmas caravan is mobilizing within the next hour and their destination seems to be somewhere in the Great Wildlands ! We strongly suggest you start gathering up your fleets and start heading in that direction!

This was a blast the last time we got to rape a CCP fleet a few weeks back. Well that is, until the party got crashed with super capitals lol.

Several of the CCP ships dropped billions in items such as faction ammo and PLEXes

I wasn't aware that 0.0 alliances could turn off stargates.

There is no point to even try to do something if you are not member of some huge corp like goonwaffe, last time they didn't shoot only on ccp but on all players around and it was huge lagish mess. Maybe to take some cheap frigate and to try loot  something.

Sadly the event is going on in the polaris system which is 200,000 jumps away

Lol Drarakkus is right. CCP has always loved the big alliances and those Players that have what it takes to venture into and survive 0.0.

The other Players that can't handle 0.0... like myself... are just ingame to pay the server's power bill.

It doesn't matter how many accounts you own, if you can't handle 0.0 space as a Player you do not really matter as far as CCP is concerned and they would just as soon have you replaced with a Bot.

Nothing new with this to be honest, EvE is as it always has been. EvE is good in that way.

This event is still a great one from my point of view because many Players will indeed have a great time and get some great loot hopefully. I could be bitter but my bitterness would be a waste because CCP don't give a damn about Players that can't handle 0.0 space for whatever reason even if it is a real life cause.

That pretty much sums up how I feel about the game as well.  I had to stop playing in 0.0 after they nerfed jump bridges simply because there wasn't enough time in my day to try and get somewhere to do anything.  With limited time to play, it was a waste of money to keep my subs going simply because outside of 0.0, the game blows.

So let me get this straight:

1) drarakuss and Gardavsshade are complaining they can't handle 0.0 and that there is more loot for people who risk more.

2) Binny45 complains that he does not have enough time because of jump bridge nerf?

And you sum up that CCP suck? Thats kind of ridiculous.

Funkybacon and Wiggles from Eve Radio got to be the first people outside of CCP to fly Polaris frigates (Dev / GM ships) in order to film the event. Thought that was neat.

i actually just got out of a 3 week stint in 0.0 for a merc contract.  I have no issues with 0.0 i am simply saying that putting it into 0.0 alienates a great amount of the playerbase.   if you dont belong to a large alliance with capitals you will be removed from the system forcefully (your pod too most likely :P)   I am just saying as usual there is no xmas spirit given to the little guy :)
