OR.NET just published a great crew skills map, taking into consideration force/non-force users. Hope that helps for peeps that are sill trying to dig into crew skills http://www.oldrepublic.net/258-crew-skills-map-force-non-force-classes-usage-dependencies.html |

way to take away exploration and learning new gaming system. Spoon feeding before the game even starts is kind of tacky in my opinion. |

The codex basically spells that out for you, not really wrecking anything. One thing I read though is, datacrons are going to be moved periodically, so people can publish them online, but they ll be moving :) |

Originally posted by I_Return Well, its up to each and everyone if they want to read these kinda guidlines. Some people might find it hard to figure out things and want some help early on to make up their minds, other dont. All I say is, that people decide for themselves if they want to discover for themselves or not. Besides, these kinda maps would be out within the first weeks after release anyways. |

Originally posted by I_Return Yeah, that picture totally ruined my game by telling me that Scavenging will help out Armortech. I think I'll cancel my preorder now. I want a mmorpg where people have gone through misery, have gone through school stuff and actually have had sex even. -sagil |

Originally posted by Soki123 This will be fun. My buddy was telling me he was going to wait till endgame and just get a walkthrough for all the datacrons and grind them out. Guess not huh lol. As for the crew skill map, as mentioned up top, the Codex tells you the exact same thing so it is not really ruining anything. |

To the OP, thanks for the helpful link. |

This does not ruin anything, just made things a lot more clearer for someone like me who catches on to visual cues rather than reading the codex. Better to be crazy, provided you know what sane is... |

It's his opinion and he's entitled to it. It's been proven wrong by other posters already, which is actually the way to do it. No need to be snarky at him for being incorrect. |

They have the information in the game, it's just poorly documented. The exploration factor isn't affected at all by something like this map. Join the League For Gamers. |

Kind of funny, I was just thinking this morning about writing up a crew skills guide... the map is pretty good, but some mission skills can provide materials for multiple crafting professions. |

Interesting. I didn't realize Armormech and Synthweaving were divided that way(force-non-force). I just assumed Synthweave was light-medium, and Armormech was heavy. Alot more balanced, the way they do it. |

Originally posted by I_Return The lore activation in game when you recieve your crafting skills from NPC give lot more information in comparison to this chart. How many servers SWTOR will launch with on release? ShredderSE - Umm how many do they need? Maybe 6. Thorbrand - SWTOR doesn't have longevity at all. Might be one of the shortest lived MMOs. |
