a recent video was posted by a previous duper of a new dupe that has been active for the past 2 days of play. The dupe involves the Mail vendors who were recently reactivated and was psoted on youtube and allowed any items to be duped that can be mailed. The server was quickly taken down and th video mentions the dupe being sold to various members of the major guilds in MO. I imagine a fix will be incoming shortly no idea what sort of damage this has done. there are 2 types of mmo, imitators and innovaters. |

SV can't find them, they wont ban them and if you want to play MO you'll just have to deal with it.

FIRST: Kudos to Deathshroud for not trying to sweep the issue under the rug like many fans try to do.
SECOND: Is ANYONE even slightly surprised by this? I mean, it's SOP that every patch brings new dupes to the game. This was expected.
THIRD: He specifically names guilds AND players in his video so it should be real easy to check and ban the players and guilds if proven true. At least those he named... he also said he was handing stuff out to random players and it appears that this has gone on for a few days... so who knows how widespread the damage is, but as someone else said, with all the previous dupes it almost doesn't matter.

yea cyde, also gm discord just deleted aq guild from the database by accident with no backup

we arent sure tbh, but we are obviously hoping it can be fixed. Server still down though. there are 2 types of mmo, imitators and innovaters. |

He claims the dupe existed pre-TC and if you look at his other YouTube videos he has one from October where he is showing off 5,000 gold...

Server is STILL down as of this post... So much for the 5 day welcome back free reactivation...
On another note there is an interesting poll on the main forums about wiping the server. Many have realized at this point that wiping is pointless as the dupes are so frequent, but still as of this post over 50% of the respondents want either a full wipe (40%) or wiping all items (12%)...

Can't imagine anyone that loaded the full game client to test their free days not laughing the game off and uninstalling it right away. Mortal's closed for the weekend, sorry guys ! |

It´s sad that SV don´t have the manpower/skills to sort things like this out. And it´s even sader that there are people out there that wanna cheat to get to the top. The first issue I have some sympathy for, but I just don´t get the cheaters. Why even play games if you wanna cheat your way to victory? I just don´t get it. And to even post a vid like that on youtube is beyond me. Only proves that the guy wanna hurt SV and MO. If he wanted to do it the right way. That a normal gameloving person would. He would have reported it to SV, and not spill it out to the world. Really lame. But hey, that´s just me. |

People are just so skilled with bows and magic, and have grinded 255 skill in every magic school, smithing, fletching, archery, 1handed, 2 handed etc, they have all the best gear, you don't stand a chance unless you play 24/7. |
