If this game is the new AAA standard im all done with the genre.

This game is not made for 18+ or 16+ it's frikkin made for 10 year olds and StarWars fanatics.

I dont really need to make cons and pros beacuse what's the point really, no MMO manage to dig such a casual/childish game grave so deep it's not even possible to make a calculated guess what they thought.

wtf was in Bioware/EA  minds  when they made this.

This game should be a prim example how NOT to make a so called AAA MMO.

I am 31 years old and i am not a SW fanatics not even close. And i still enjoy the game. why do you guys always have to make a point with useless generalisations? hard to get your point across without lumping everyone into same group?

The market has been saying something very loud to everyone. 'WoW' type gameplay is what people will pay for.

Im enjoying the game right now. Is it perfect:?  no.  But its very good and has alot of potential.

Some class storylines are better then others, but its got alot of quality.

I think Bioware did a good job of keeping most people happy.

I was about to add a reply but then i checked your previous posts. Won't bother. Besides, i don't think you actually tested anything, at least not beyond the first quest hub.

Yes thats true you are right at that point, but  most gamers play a new game, "beat" it within 2-4 weeks and see how shallow the game is and lack of endagame.

That is what our dear gaming developers are counting on these days, BOXSALES, not subs they dont care about subs all is about boxsales thats the new income for them, manage servers for the last hardcore fanbois dosent cost much to make the servers run.

That is the interesting part. After weeks and weeks of SWTOR bashing as to how it is not worth their time and how they never gonna touch it they play it anyways. lol

OP, it seems this game isn't for you mate. But honestly; I'm a Sandbox fan, SWG vet, burned out like hell with Themparks, and I'm 26 years old and I would say that ToR is a pretty good game for what it is. I don't think it's childish at all, sure it's not difficult but for a lot of people they play games to unwind.

You can't be surprised by this OP. The masses sadly don't want a game to be challenging, they just want another WoW clone and thats pretty much TOR delivers. It's not a game aimed at real gamers, but for kids, casuals, and SW Fans and appearently it delivers what they want. It's not the end of te world though or something to get upset over, and there are MMO's with potential in the pipeline. Just cross TOR off that list and move on.

Or maybe they're just a regular players pissed off how bad TOR actually is - this would be accepted 4-5 years ago maybe, not in 2011 tho
