I think because of the large traffic involved any error in the security question which I had to answer three times all different ones mind you very carefully it might lock you out until you can reset it and sicne traffic is quite bad it may take awhile. I had to register 5 secret questions and answers yesterday morning /shrug
Huge fan of the countdown on the website queue and how it goes from 10 to NOW then restarts a few dozen times. Was funny watching my 4 yr old get all excited when it his NOW then get all grumpy when it restarted. |

WHAT?! how were you able to pass that verification without the page resetting on you?! it caused me to reinput the SQs (my third try right now), and still managed NOT to go beyond that point... |

Downloaded in a little over an hour for me. That was after it took me 7 hours just to get the RSVP button on the webpage to work so I could access the download. What really sucks though is some people will have way longer downloads or not get it downloaded untill the last minute only to find out the beta weekend is being done staggered based on how soon you RSVP. As in some people get to start Friday and go untill sunday while some only get to start Saturday and go untill sunday and then the really unlucky only get to start Sunday and play a few hours. They are doing this to simulate the staggered release on launch. |

The message about re-setting your password may be misleading - I didn't have to do this despite getting the message. What it can be after is for you to set up your security questions:
Go into your account page , click security question - on the right of the page Fill in min of 3 of these and save. Go back to the launcher and you should be ok (well worked for me). It will ask one of these security questions, hence the error message if you haven't set them up.
If you have closed the launcher you can access it through your Start-Programs-EA-SWTOR
Hope this helps (if you can't get on the website none of the above will help) |

I can get onto the page and input all 5 of the SQs. After that, I click <SAVE> - it resets the page and DOES NOT save. Any help? (I even tried logging in the launcher. Problem still persists.... |

The security questions page does reset once you have pressed save and it looks like nothing has happened. Look for a message at the top of the page saying you have successfully saved the questions.
If you are not getting this, I can only assume that it's due to the difficulties the website is having at the moment. |

It could take me all day to get this beta download. I should of got up at 3am to get it. If it helps with the opening day of play and it takes me all day playing to get in for the download am all for it. :) |

Mmm looks like these dimwits are going to Piss off alot of customers before launch of the game ... but if their broken website is anything to go by ... it doesn't bode well for a smooth release , and yeah I cant get to the Download page either because I cant get to the page to put in my security questions !
Makes me wonder if its worth bothering with the Beta at all ... too much stress ! lol |
