The thing that really struck me was the depth and nebulous nature of the light/dark decisions. I expected most of them to be 1: Kill him 2:help him Etc. But they have written them in a very impressive manner where I found myself actually debating which way to go on many choices. |

Only thing I'd quibble with is number 5 on your list. I don't like the clone wars look at all. |

I only agree with nomber #1, I hate this game as an MMO, it should have been released as a single player game. |

Im getting this, im a 7 year vet with SWG so i need my SW fix. I just wish they would have added more factions. Dont get me wrong sith vs jedi is great and all. But 3+ factions in the SW uiniverse isnt unthinkable, and would have added much more to the game.
I like everything i see, i hope it lives up to it. |

Not sure if I agree with with any of your points or not as I have yet to get a chance to get my hands on this game. And probably won't until after the new year.
I would like to ask though Bill, in your opinion how does the voice acted story line and the group story line quests stack up agaisnt the feeling of a single player RPG game like Skyrim?

So ya, its not always cut and dry, even with you companions and I love it. |

"But we all agree that the quasi-Clone Wars look of the characters and world are a damn sight better than if BioWare had tried to make the game look like the live action movies." No, we don't all agree. I didn't like SWG at all but I think the character models all looked a lot better there. While I do think the TOR is a superior game to SWG, the giant steroid-laden, barrel chested characters are laughable... and not in a funny way. Luckily, some of the body sizes are more realistic and don't look as awful. But I still would have much preferred a live-action look. Or hell, even what BioWare did in the Dragon Age or Mass Effect series. |

i actually disagree. While i wouldnt mind a few more body type chocies especially on the female siad. As mike b fony put it they have need a thriple cheeserburger need a double cheeser burger, need a cheeserburger and ate a cheeseburger. That said i like teh character models and the basic style of graphics. There the type of graphics i perfer in my mmos. Myabe wow did that to me but i have played more realistic looking graphics games and i liked tor alot better. Thats my opinion i can understand if u dont agree. That said my 5 things are easy 1 story is amazing. 2 worlds looked very well done and felt iconic to me even though i only saw starter worlds. 3 choices, and while soem say they dont matter they do really. If i kill a guy he cant help me later on and there were cases where i could help a jedi escape or not, i could bring this stuff to the twilek gaurdian leader or destroy it like the matriach wantted. I didnt play long enough to see what consequenses of them woudl end up being but i had choices that mattered. 4 combat in tor felt more heroic then in wow to me. while it was familiar and easy to learn it felt more engaging then in other mmos. i guess cause i didnt feel like iw as killing things for no reason. I had a reason in tor that made them feel more then the sum of there parts. It also just felt like star wars to me. 5 map. I loved the map and the way it went translucent while i walked this really helped if iw asnt in danger of beign attacked. there are other things but these are the main things i can think of. |

I couldn't disagree more with number five. I hate the 'stylized' cartoonish look they picked. Something remotely similar to the trailers or even an updated version of KOTOR's graphics would have been far better. |

5: Graphics: toons look too cartoony for my taste but the environments look really great. 4: Light and Dark side: biggest let down about this game, light and dark is just a flavor while levelling up, in the end it's only about faction. Very unstarwarsy, unbelievably unstarwarsy actually. 3: Flashpoints: hope you're right about this. 2: Companions: I find turning every class into a pet class a poor design decision. I don't think they add much to your character. Seeing those companions all over the place, meh. 1: Yes, the story, branching storylines, the one thing you can really count on being done right. |

It's funny, but there is literally nothing that appeals to me about this game apart from the fact that it is Star Wars (which I tend to enjoy), and the bounty hunter class. I definitely agree with 3, 2, & 1. SWToR was finally a game where I enjoyed questing. The VO really added alot. I also enjoyed pvping quite a bit. There are some balance concerns that I hope are being addressed thou. |

i disagre light and dark are just a flavor . Dark side choices will slowly change the way your character looks. Im sorry i liked the dark / light side choices. Like on inquistor i had a choie to shock a guy or not on smuggler i could pursuade woman to tell me where to find what i as looking for a vaccine i think ro threaten this kid she was with. The choices were cool and i liked them. Teh graphics are well done u may not like the style they chose but the enviroments and even what they give uf or character model choices are well done for the style they choise. I personally like the art style. I perfer it to realisitc. I dont know why people want realistic. Story itself was just amazing and companions what i used of them were kinda cool. I like that i can get godo pts or bad pts with them based on choices i make or things i say to them. I dont see companions as pets either. I think overall there ia is better then wows pets. My guy never went off attackign random guys for no reason. IN wow that happens to me and gf all the time even on passive or defensive. u dont have to agree with me but i loved this game and will be playign it from early acess on and im gonna be playing it for many years for one big reason i had a blast in tor universe. It was a blast and social converstaions were just amazing. |

I agree with all the things on the list as well:
I would like to see a 5 things we don't like as well. I'd never shy away from a intelligent debate. Redundant trollish talking points, on the other hand, really gets me going. Hopefully the list will avoid these topics:
Either way it would be interesting to see.

I'd strongly argue with #5, look. While not bad, some elements are really just sub par. Like the REALLY mediocre textures. "Things weren't better in the past. But a lot of things were GOOD, and they would STILL be, if people had stopped the fuck messing around with them!" |
