The more you hype an upcoming game in your mind, the more it will fail to meet your expectations. |

Originally posted by godzilr1 The steam forums suffered from a minor injection attack, which has since been corrected. The steam forum login info is separate from steam account info (provided people didn't re-use the same username/password), so even if the purpotrators got any info (which there's no evidence they did), it shouldn't affect actual Steam accounts. |

Meh. Steam. Hate it. Really hope this isn't one of those things where I have to have an online connection to play a single player game. That makes zero sense. I miss the days where a mandatory constant online connection wasn't required and you could download patches at your leisure when you did have a connection. I thought I was buying the game. Not renting. Its like the Big Brother of the gaming industry. The game should work right out of the box when downloaded onto the computer with no other requirements. Meh. I'll wait till the game arrives to see the truth of it and I'll save any complaining for if it turns out to be a pain in the rear. |

Originally posted by Sovrath The issue would be, PC Gamers have to wait and console gamers can play right now. I don't know why they don't add a feature to lock the game on consoles as well because it is pretty unfair that they can ignore the rules while PC gamers wait. |

So, the OP is upset that he can't play a game before the release date and is railing against steam? Perhaps board games are more in line for for the OP, since he obviously can't grasp basic concepts like not being able to play before a release date. My 4 year old niece loves Candyland, perhaps you should give it a try. Just because some people are breaking the rules does not give you the right to do so too. Grow up and accept the fact that you are going to have to wait until the 11th to play like everyone else. |

Originally posted by Jimmy562 I think you're the only one on this thread that has understood what the OP is talking about. I guess he bought the PC version and since the PC version uses Steam as DRM/Registration he can't play the game until the 10th (Steam changed the released date to the 10th for those that don't know). |

I have to agree it sucks that console gamers got access earlier then the PC gamers. That being said, it is Steams responsibility to maintain the contracts they have. Fair or not. Laws usurp fairness when money is involved. Unless you can do it and not get caught LOL |

Originally posted by Laughing-man They actually have already released the game in Holland: http://www.gamer.nl/nieuws/166644/verschillende-winkels-verkopen-skyrim-al (page in dutch.) http://kotaku.com/5857428/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-on-sale-now-in-the-netherlands
Either way, god forbid the OP has to wait until the actual international release date like THE REST OF THE WORLD! (including all the dutch in holland who pre-ordered from other locations.) How dare steam! It's all steam's fault. |

Originally posted by ABRaquel Well no, the OP is upset because the drm is making it so that he can't join his console bretheren in playing a game that they shouldn't have in their hands. He is not sayign that console players should have the same restrictions. He wants to play it now. |

Originally posted by ABRaquel I think that we get what the OP is talking about, it is just that the release date isnt until the 11th (10th now?) for all platforms. I am not the morailty police so I am not judging anyone that plays before the release date. However, crying because you can't play before release just makes the OP sound like a spoiled child or a troll. Maybe a spoiled troll child?? |
