Not really a troll poll . I've acknowlaged that MOP will most likly sell well .Blizzard could do a hello kitty style expansion at this point and people who have invested so many years in the game would at least give it a try (they may not stay but they would try it).  But there would be a point that it would be considered to be under performing and someone would have to take the blame for that . The most logical person is Greg Street . I would have thought there would have been voices of decent in the ranks of developers over this expansion and someones made the choice to ignore them and go ahead with it .

I'm pretty certain he will resign before hes pushed and he wont be in his position by the begining of 2013 . I'm not always popular with what I say but I'm usually right simply because its the most likly course events will take .

It may not be such a bad thing if he goes . New blood brings new ideas and you may end up with a far better game at the end of the day .

I don't think WoW is totally irredeamable .

I think it's a good move.

People will complain of course.  The same guy that said Wrath was too easy is the same guy complaining about Cata being too hard.  The same guy that plays a female gnome with pink hair is the same guy complaining that pandas will "wussify" the game.

I think it may help bring back some people that left (like me).  I've been hoping for something fun in Warcraft and this may be it.

Although I believe Ghostcrawler should be tossed out on his ear; it is more based on his arrogance (Heroics Are Hard and other blog comments) more than his involvement in Cata or MoP.  That being said, MoP can hardly be considered an entirely bad idea, based on the fact that prior to the annoucement, WoW was rarely seen in the Top 10 Most Popular Games, and certainly not at #1 by a long margin.

I voted no simply because its a horrible pole and the author obviously want everyone to vote yes. which is probably the most disturbing thing i've seen on the internet in the past 4 hours.

Oh come on be serious . If you find this disturbing you really shouldn't be on the internet in the first place . And yes personally I think people should be made accountable for thier mistakes when they are large ones .

WoW needs some new ideas at the top . Someone thats got that hunger . When hes gone and someone else is in charge and probably doing a better job you will be first in line saying this is much better now .

Had I wanted it to be everyone  voting yes I would have put the poll up in the general forums rather than here in the WoW forums . I thought it would be a lot fairer to ask WoW fans what they thought rather than general mmo fans that hate WoW . Because after all they are the one affected .

I was more likly to get that in the WoW forums than elsewhere .

For the thread title, I would say no.

For the poll, I'd ask how the Hell he was not fired long ago...

I voted "yes" not because of the MoP expansion. He is responsible for my 2 beloved classes (hunter, enhancement shaman) becoming almost free HK's in PvP. 

I'll be honest I'm surprised No has more votes, on a site that has a lot of WoW haters... But yah I'm gonna have to check back on these forums after MOP launches and it does surprisingly well... Yup gonna be nice to see what people are bashing at that time... prolly how GW2 sucks so bad because the lack of the trinity is actually BS... or something like that... We shall see....

That said, someone else said it best about the Pandas.  "They are no more rediculous than any other WoW race."  I'm more concerned with their continued changes to talents that remove all choice when they say the opposite.  And by that I mean that what little choices they tried to add in Cat and MoP are not really a choice to begin with.  You can't choose things that have little to no impact on your character and feel good about it.  Having a choice in things that don't really matter is not a real choice.

This has been a well known fact for a long long time that the people who log into the forums ARE the vocal minority.  If you have been paying attention to any blog posts or forum posts or frankly been active in the community you'd know how little we have an effect on it, and how our opinions are VERY RARELY inline with the main stream players.

Notice, WoW is WAAAAY down on the populairty list on this website, yet some how its the most played MMO of all time?

There is way more to consider.  The amount of people still playing is also relative to the amount of people who don't stop paying for a game while they are paying for and playing several others.  It's also relative to the amount of "good" choices in the mmo market at this time.  People are still waiting for new games.  Those numbers show who is paying at the moment, but are not a good prediction of tomorrow.  They aren't even a good indicator for the true population of a game at any given time. 

I think you underestimate what feedback is given in comparison to how they try to belittle the value of the forums, the amount of emails you never see, the amount of people who quit without a word and leave Blizz guessing as to why, and the people who agree or disagree but realise no one is listening and posting so would have no impact on the people making the decisions because they straight up tell you that your opinion is not valued.  Blizz treats the forums as step children.  They prefer blogs where you can't question their egos.

This site is more of an unbiased site in that negative comments are not removed as trolling.  You get both opinions as long as it's thought out.  Meanwhile negative posts are deleted on the WoW forums as trolling while leaving pages of "umadbro" "QQ" is encouraged.

They are well aware of the attrition and enrollment values, As long as they are beating the industry average they are doing better then the competition.

Irregardless? You mean regardless. What exactly is Irregardless supposed to mean? What is it a contraction of?

You want to see a developer fired because the game isn't going your way? Unless you're a major stockholder, I don't really see the reasoning here. Most of you guys don't even play WoW anyway. So why fire someone over something that many of you have absolutely nothing invested in currently?

Wow made an extremely smart move. They're advertising to weeaboos. China's not quite japan, but asian on top of furry will make them people flock like ducks to bread crumbs in a hot minute.

Now elves named hitoshigokukonekobleachchansmadesu will be even more common.

For MoP? No. For everything else? YES.  The man is Patient Zero for whats known as Ghostcrawler Syndrome (Way too much focus on spread sheets and data mining, and not on what makes a class or game FUN to play).  It was him and his crew that inflicted well more than a year of endless nerfs on the Death Knight class.  For that alone he should walk the gang plank down to Davy Jones locker. ^^
