two questions is their a pandora widget or is it able to run it in the background and what about netflix any support for silverline?

Wonder how they got Skype into this ... it is something none of the other chat programs have...

If you want a VIOP with built in overlay switch to Mumble.

Howerver, the overlay will get flagged by punkbuster..

You can do most of this with RIFT now in regards to the social media connection, minus the in game browser but i run the game in windowed fullscreen so just popping up firefox is no real issue. Digsby gets me the chat bubbles and facebook integration i need.

 

Not everyone is playing RIFT buddy, there are games that don't have any of these features so don't post annoying comments. 

There are many unanswered questions in this thread, though overwolf has been great about answering most of the questions. 

I'm sure It could very well be spyware, but I don't think they plan on releasing the information to anyone without benefits for both players and companies. 

I might have to try it myself, It saddens me that It doesn't support Aion, But I'm sure they'll add support for it if a few more people ask (Including me, I'd like it alot). 

I'm gonna do a bit more research on the site about the social media integration to see what exactly it posts on Facebook and such.

Edit: Read Overwolf's site, Yay for steam and aion support! did they fix the forced post on facebook yet? I'd like that to be optional.

Steam Integration would be amazing if it doesn't have it already, and the app's concept sounds really good.

I can't install it on guildwars 2 it crashes the game and its not working at all I am useing windows 8

Know this is late in the convo, almost ot the point of a necro post, but since the 'feedback' option and the website itself just errors whenever I try to send anything, here maybe u might see;

I am absolutly sick of overwolf being 'force and ghost' installed on my system. I can already count 4 times since I built this system (8 months ago) where I was installing or uninstalling some (Unrelated) program and i get an error that 'overwolf has stopped responding'

At that point I have to go sifting though my computer and looking for registry keys to get this peice of garbage program off my system. A week or two later, and overwolf pops up again.

I do not know if your bundling your spyware onto other games, or if its somehow connected to websites I use, but I DO NOT WANT overwolf on my system, I didn't before (when I trusted the program as just what you 'advertised' it to be) and i DEFINATLY do not want it anywhere NEAR my system now that I have had the wonderful experience of removing it (four times now) without ever having installed it.

I wonder if your using the ploy babylon and other scamware sites use, where you have checkboxes to 'allow' thier program (on a page that looks important?) and when you de-select all options, it gives another popup with fine print with a greyed out 'cancel' button? - Hit ok and boom, everything is instantlly installed?

Sorry, but your in the same boat as those... theives and internet bandits now. I see overwolf and and related company, as little more than your average email spammer.

Please review your process for providing your 'product' to people. I now consider overwolf and anything related as spyware and will NOT play a 'overwolf supported' game until I can be sure that OW is NOT on my system.

Was that good enough feedback for you? (Also fix your feedback system that seems to 'error' out any time u try to send negitive responses lol)

Your program was not needed, wanted, or desired in any way before u came along. Xfire, ventrilo, etc, all do the job, with much less resource hogging, and none of them are 'forced'

Please just go out of buisness already and stop harrassing us.
