I think they'll have an IP block. I tried to play GoD on the Russian servers today, and the client crashed at the splash-screen that I can't play because of region. Think they'll drop the same there for EU servers (would be a waste IMO)

When does Free Play actually start? I tried to log in today for the first since 2006 and they still want me to pay.

Depends on where you live...

For the US, there's no word yet from Sace/Moxie on whatever and whnever will happen there. Not even a clarification about the hybrid model they'll release there...

For the EU things seem to draw close. Where first the new EU site said "The last days of autumn", it now has changed to "the Darkest Days of Autumn", which might refer to Halloween, and make a rumor I heard before this change of November 1st more likely...

well if its less as two weeks to go it wouldnt be to bad :), just wish we had forums to spam already :(

I already have a forum to SPAM already. A lot of Naia refugees (40+ already) who will start at the same server and create a clan on the new Innova server in an attempt to become the #1 top-clan on the server. We even aim to capture Aden castle on the 1st siege :D

ohh? got a spot for a dorfy? :) (havent played in ages but i know my dwarfy things) and it would solve half my problems finding either decent people to play with (hopefully) or making a guild myself (which i really do not wanna do again)

They will not have any IP blocks because thats just stupid. You can play on L2 RU. You got that error because your didnt change your system locale to Russia. You do that in Regional And Language settings and then you can go play all your heart desires.

BTW. Can I join your clan for f2p start? I can pretty much play any role needed :) Would like a bishop though ....

A bishop? Don't you mean an aeore healer?

If they still have an option to pay a standard subscription for access to all content without having to worry about "unlocking this" or "purchasing that", I'd be happy with it.

Hopefully that'll be the case.

No, I mean a bishop. Since Aeore is only the 4th class transfer for a bishop/shilen,elve elders

Oh wow I always wanted to play this game but when I finally decided it was way too hard to get into it as the servers were full of high levels. If it is a new server there is a great possibility I might just try it. End of this month huh ?

Will have to keep an eye on this. No idea if I'll like it but it'd be cool to at least experience it, especially if it's F2P.

This is what i've been waiting for long time :) I just can say thank you innova :) I played god at russian servers and i couldnt get over some features because i dont speak russian but the game looks a lot different... cant say its a bad thing but i need more time on it to state my opinion :). Also graphics are better :)

BTW... NC soft is killing this game... how the fuck they dont see this. Innova will take over it and thats it. Eu server will be dead when innova f2p one starts.

I agree partly... Yes, NCWest doesn't care too much about their customers as they should. But I think (hope) that Innova taking over EU for L2 will be their wake-up call.

Also, I heard ppl complain about performance on Innova servers.  played for 1 week on the Russian servers (from Western Europe), and in the weekend (peak hours) I indeed had quite some of lag, both when walking and fighting, making it quite hard to play (I was not in a village - they're all are crowded). Coming weekend are the sieges on the Russian server I'm on, and I'll walk around the area there to see how things will hold then. If the lag is as bad as I had last weekend, I might as well stay on NCWest's Naia (EU) server. At least there I haven't had lag issues for a long period of time.

Will drop info here on the lag during the siege...

I'll probably try the eu servers if i have nothing better to do.

Well i had some delays myself but i guess its because of its location. I think they will make Eu servers more EU friendly :)

Well, about the the 'I might stay on NCWEST' , you do know that when Inova takes over Europe, Naia will be moved to USA. So, it will start to lag for you. And then there will be absolutely nothing to fix it( unless you move to USA..).  As for Inova's servers, there will always be options.

I think Naia will become a US server. They will need another US Server when the game goes free as Chronos is already on Heavy most of the time now. I dont see any reason for a Euro person to not play on Innova servers.
