Good voice, good information, decent background visuals. The post linking to your video is much better than the last one, I actually watched it this time. I disagree with your prediction of failure. |

I really like the idea of pandas as new race, it is something different and it looks like that a lot of people are worried about this. I was curious, is everyone worried because they might possibly be scared of changed, since these new changes could be out of their comfort zone? |

And that's good, the biggest problem with WoW imo is that in vanilla you could only do instanced PvP or raids at end game. Same with TBC. Same with Wotlk. Same with Cata. FINALLY they are adding some new ways to play the damn game, in the 4th expansion no sooner. It is a good thing, very good thing. I dont know how the "PvE battlegrounds" will work but that sounds like a new way to play the game also, more options to play the game makes it more diverse and longer lasting and appeals to bigger audience which I find a good thing, the lite-mmos with only raiding as end game are crap and grows old fast. |

Originally posted by Geowash It was a joke, but overall ganking is a sad form of pvp same with griefing. Ganking is not attacking someone without provokion in wow atleast, but is the action of attacking a defenseless target (ie someone of a much lower lvl then you.), I loved my world pvp as well the taren mills, plaguelands, and other area open world zerg as well as mass war pvp fights. YEt saddly the actions of said gankers made it a liability in wow as well as other themepark pve games. |

Pet battles with vanity pets? Hmmm, where are all the good pets going to come from? Let's see the future!
Player 2 gets squashed by this awesome pet Player 1 has. Player 2: Where did you find this pet? Player 1: I bought it on the blizzard store, I got one on AH for 5k gold! Player 2 rushes to AH to buy pet. Now I see where the need to make pet sellable on AH comes from! |

Originally posted by Geowash I agree . The day that they implimented the finder system was the day world pvp died and WoW became an instance centric mmo . Essentially taking the world out of World of Warcraft . I always did find some reason to go back but Panda Land was where Blizzard crossed the line for me . I'm done my WoW days are behind me . Thankfully Rifts an excellent alternative and StarWars TOR is about to be released and theres a bevy of interesting mmos out in 2012 . At a point where Blizzard face its strongest competition ever they come up with a totally misconcieved and weak expansion which will only appeal to the die hard fan and not even the 12 year olds that every one is always going on about who will find it very uncool to play Kung Fu Pandas . Once you start getting teesed at school for playing WoW by your friends who've all decided to be Jedis then thats the day WoWs in real trouble . |

Originally posted by OkhamsRazor Yet a bounty sustem would just bring pvp as well as ganking to the people pvping in world pvp any ways since you would have to deal with the fact of killing a target that was extremey low level and such had no real value other then to kill them. I used to do bounties in wow all the time putting up a seeking bounties for pvp gankers. I would grab about ten to twenty and then hunt down the ganker myself and kill/camp him, before returning to the player's that had placed the bounty and getting my secondary reward. I never said that ganking was not open pvp jsut that it is one of the lower forms of pvp since you are not fighting a personcharacter with a even slight chance of winning, but you are killing a person/character for the sole fact of pk'ing them, where as i prefer a more challanging fight i seek out the gankers via bounties and such to get my pvp as well as keep my rep in games. It is basically a ganker has little danger of dieing by thier act of killing a lower lvl (commonly a much lower lvl.), and i would love a in-game bounty system that your players could put up bounties on that can be taken even when they are offline. Though woould bounties unable to be handed in if you killed them i instanced pvp, so that it forces people out into the world for pvping.
I would ask abotu all the asian gamers that like the cute as well as kiddy type grinders, they might just come to wow for awhile to see the new contient as well as panda and if it is even for afew months that would net a good bonus. Also the wow community has been asking for the panda racce in forums for years, which says that a large group of the player base wants them in game, I am liking the idea of pk'ing in pvp with a panda for the sheer fact of the face on a person's face when i pk them with one, but i would most ikely go the worgen, night elf, or draenei for my monk over panda really. |

I could accept everyones disagreement with being a panda but you can be a cow already so seems like a wash to me. Everyone bitched that WOW was just more of the same and they do something different and people bitch. Being an Asian themed panda is no more childish than being a native american cow. |

As someone already pointed out, pandas is not any more ridiculous than having cows, goats etc. in the game. For me every race which is not a human is just part of the freak circus. |

Just checked out mmo champ.com, looks like they are butchering the classes again, appears druids only get to tank or dps now - no more resto or boomkins :( (tbc). Hunters lose the melee slot, everyone else loses their ranged slot, wands are main-hand weapons now ^^ Aside from the scenario's there does'nt look to be much to come back for. I logged in for a week back in august, hardly any of my original guild members still play now :/ Oh well, I guess swtor and gw2 are looking a lot more enticing.
