Aion players will want to check into the game as the v2.7 patch has gone live on all servers. This particular update is packed with new PvP content in the form of the Crucible.

Players can get into PvP battles either in the 1v1 matches or in the 6-10 player free for all matches. Practice matches are unlimited though ranked battles can only happen once per day.

Well, i wouldn't call something that is available (rated one I'm talking about) once a day only a PvP'er dream myself...

I'm quite aware that it's possible to play all day long, but since only 1 arena a day is rewarded, most players will do some other things anyways. It doesn't make much sense to me, although it might be just my opinion. 

You mean to tell me 2.7 has just deployed in the US??? and EU?? but yet... the Chinamen get 3.0? Aion gets worse and worse by the year...

PVP in Aion? LOL! There is no PVP in this game. It's ppl 1-2 shotting toons left and right. Godstones and overdoing it with items modification have ruined this game, which is sadly why I dont play anymore.

Anyhow, sounds like a cool update :D Still can't decide if I'm going back or going to continue catching up on single-player games before SWTOR hits. Starting to miss an MMO again among my options.

     PvP paradise would be to bring back rifting, or at the very least give something available like this to the low lvl pvpers. As it stands now, pvp doesnt exist till lvl 46.

Fruity? Because we all want our toons to be running around looking like over-buffed neanderthals with a retarded look on their faces with armor resembling hubcaps and leather meshed together. That old D&D American art style is played out and boring to the eyes. I'm sorry that some people don't shave and shower and would want something that resembles their lifestyle. And nothing wrong with being metro. It just means that you care about your appearence and don't like to go around smelling like @#$ and jerky like some douchebag jock. Asian are is beautiful and expressive.

I can agree with that but a PvP centered MMORPG it is NOT. It is mostly a PvE grind game with some endgame PvP and now PvP arenas. WAR is more of a PvP centered MMORPG and that is not because WAR is a particularly PvP heavy MMORPG. It is also mostly battleground and arena (PvP lakes) type of PvP but I played them both, extensively, and I can tell you that the PvP in WAR is alot more readily available, and enjoyable, than Aion. In WAR I spent maybe 75% of my online time PvPing and in Aion it was 0% from level 1-25ish and then 25ish-50 maybe 10%.

This latest 1 day arena stuff wont change that by much, the game will still be a PvE centered MMORPG.

seems like only ppl who have no clue about the game are postin here. at the beginnin when rifting wasnt nerfed alot of ppl were complainin about beein ganked (ofc they didnt expect that in a pvp game..) so ncsoft put rift buffs in the game..then pvpers started to complain about killin the riftin so ncsoft decied to change it every week..so 1 week no buffs and 1 week with buffs. for me a good agreement for both sides.

and now we have ppl talkin about low lvl pvp...sry but just lol...u can reach lvl 50 in just a few days..when and with who do u wanna do pvp? most of the ppl let their high lvl m8s powerlvl them..u wont see much ppl to pvp with in low lvls. and with lvl 46 (imagine thats just reached in few days) the pvp starts everywhere u go.

also when i read here ppl complainin that the 2 new pvp instances are not enough for pvp i have to laugh again...u guys rly have no clue about the endgame in aion do u? im a pvper mysel so what am i gonna do when im done with those 2 inis? yeah i will go to inggi/gelk/silentera  and start doin my daily and weekly pvp quests. and when im done with that i go to gelk (im playin an elyos) and beat the shit out of the asmos (just for fun and to farm some abyss points). and in between i also go sometimes for dredgions when there is time.

so yeah there is more then enough pvp and i hope ncsoft wont bring more pvp instances to the game since imo the open world pvp is much more fun then fightin a few ppl in an instanced world.

moreover with the new instances the gear grind is almost gone..just take a look on the pvp gear u can get there..u can get the whole gear in just few weeks. even faster then the pve gear. so there is no point anymore to complain about that.

btw yeah the 3.0 is on the korean (not chinese) pts but thats bc the game was released in korea months before the west. it takes time to localize the game for the whole west since there are more then only one language to translate.

sorry, but i thought they unnerfed rift-pvp again... which would have been pvpers dream.

The game still has one of the worst support staffs I have ever encountered in a game.  Good luck if you have problems, they most probably won't help you.
