Just traded in my Dead Island today (I went the console route), but I thought it was pretty damn good, just a little short on replay value and the looting isn't quite to the level of say Borderlands (I'm avoiding mmo referencing). I bled 70+ hours out of it before relenting to the fact I had done everything. Still, I'd recommend it!

Dead Island is one of the best multiplayer zombie games I've played. I say multiplayer because Resident Evil or Silent Hill will always be the best (imho) for single player. I have it for 360, and haven't seen any bugs, except my camera messed up once in a corner, and i lag death about once every 3-4 hours of playtime. My friend has it for PS3, he says it's very choppy and has bugs. I haven't been over to his house in awhile, so I can't tell you from my own experience...I told him to only buy games for 360 when they multiplatform lol.

Dead Rising in a lot of ways in terms of the seemingly pointless things you’re going to be doing while you play the game. But Dead Island made me for the first time really appreciate Dead Rising’s hook. I’m talking about that game’s ticking clock. |
