1.) .. How will naming your character work? For instance, will it be just one name or will you be able to have a rather long fitting name with a Mr. / Mrs. / Sir / Maddam? Also though marriage isnt in the game, can players share last names at creation if last names are indeed in it? 2.) ..I understand cross faction chat isnt gonna happen, but how does it work if someone decides to be a Bounty Hunter who only makes lightside choices? For instance, if a sith agent decides to only make lightside decisions, will they be able to talk to lightside classes such as smugglers, Jedi's and Troopers? |

Originally posted by Syllendale i can answer number 2 for you. alignment has no bearing on faction. so empire players are only speaking to other empire players even if they made light side choices. they could speak to a smuggler or trooper if that player(s) is close enough to see chat done in /say though. that is the only way for the opposing factions to talk to each other. and again alignment doesn't matter for that. |

- in 1 of the interviews the dev said that for a certain slot a crafted item was the second best item in the whole game, that there was only 1 item that was better, one that could be obtained in raiding. Did this mean that that crafted item or crafted items can be as good as or better than most raid items, only beated by the top of the top tiered raid items? If top crafted items can be the 2nd best in slots, only 1 item above it, does this mean that all other items, including other raid items and gear, are worse than those top crafted items that are 2nd best in slot?
- the materials that can be used in crafting and that are dropped in raids, are those BoP or can they be traded with other players? The ACTUAL size of MMORPG worlds: a comparison list between MMO's |

I'd like to know more about Character Customization. Like just how limited is it going to be? It seems they think all most of us care about is the gear we can get, and they are ignoring the fact that many of us don't want "cookie cutter" characters. Along the same Line of thought, I'd like to know which Species will be playable for each of the Classes. There are some Classes for which only 2 playable Species have been confirmed. And that, to my mind, is just Not Enough! Plus I would also like to know more about the Legacy System. And perhaps some hints if they've even considered some type of Dual Spec System (within the same Advanced Class). It seems to me they would eventually want to go this route because they've tried to stress the capability to be "flexible". |

Methinks you're just a bit confused. Simply put, your "Light side" and "Dark side" choices affect your character in various ways, but none of those have anything to do with altering your "Faction". Now some far off expansion pack could, in theory, provide us with a way to switch factions... But I wouldn't hold my breath in anticipation. |

It is abit "sad" to a point factions don't have too much interaction besides pvp and the like. TRUE, I don't want alot of people calling names over region chats and such, but sometimes it could be fun... thankfully being able to just simply use ranged chat still works. |

Some questions I have now: - Crafting: Will they cling to making high-end crafting dependent on operations for the best components and recipes? To what extent will this put raiding crafters at a very big advantage? Does crafting constitute a full gameplay "walk of life"? What does being a dedicated crafter look like in practice? Mainly managing companions or contributing yourself to a considerable degree? How endgame viable are the top end recipes? - Personal vehicles: Flavors, types, speeds and progress? - World pvp: How many open world conflict zones (for pve and pvp servers) like Illum will be in at launch? Are the Mercenary Commendations gained by completing world pvp objectives in "11 pvp hotspots on 11 planets" limited to pvp servers or are those areas open to world pvp on pve servers as well? Will there be a big difference in the rate at which you acquire Warzone- and Mercenary Commendations? / Is doing just world pvp a viable choice to get pvp gear rewards or will it be a much, much slower proces compared to farming warzones? Is the exchange proces of different Commendations handled through npc's, and are they generated by the game? Or do you need to trade them with players who have a surplus they are selling and in that way, make Commendations be open to community controled exchange rates? What other incentives apart from gear rewards are there to promote world pvp? - Spaceships: What kind of mods can you get for them by completing space objectives? Are they visible? Will we be able to invite friends on our spaceships at launch / soon after? How high is spaceship interior customization on the post-launch to-do list? Will there ever be new spaceship models to be bought / acquired by players? If so: will you stick to keeping a close match to player class and faction or will there be more freedom of choice?

Question: What messures have you put in place against inevitable gold farming and alike spam attacks. Starter worlds would suck if there was no local/help channel for new players.. Likewise Trade Hub spam is not nice either... How will you find a ballance between "clean channels" and "player chat restrictions"?
