My guess is they'll put it on steam, direct2drive, and the shelves of places like walmart and target. $30 gets you $50 worth of in game items, so if you were going to give them money you'll get a little more out of it then straight $30. how does this not make sense to you guys, its a free game supported by micro transactions you can't all be so new to the idea of how F2P works that this is confusing to you all. |

They did this with Runes of Magic too. The box for the game just states that it's in game items. But it's very, VERY improperly worded on the box. So an unsuspecting person who didn't know the game was free could potentially end up buying the box to play it. It doesn't say anywhere on the box it's free, it doesn't say anywhere on the box what items you are getting for buying the box. I really hope it's better done than runes of magic. I really really do. |

My god these assholes know no bounds. They actually want money for a game literallt that rivals counterstrike in sheer volume of hackers.

They aren't saying it's B2P now. You just can buy a boxed version with items in it. |

Let's support a game that no one cares about. Sheesh, atleast try and fix the game before you find a distributor for your crappy overpriced item shop. I struggle not with life, money, emotions, and world, but against old mindsets and selves to be proven obsolete in a age and time of rapid changes. Go create fun, so you can have fun. |

I wouldnt play it even if it was F2P unless they could guarantee a hacker free game... too bad they can't even do that. Currently Playing: LOTRO - SWTOR - PS2 - BF3 Waiting For: Camelot Unchained cause Mark Jacobs is a friggin genius. |

No one can give a "hacker" free game ...no one.Mind you they used the most hacked engine EVER and are doing a pretty good job of banning hackers ( right now they can just come back but when it launches there will be hardware bans) will see how it turn's out.

These comments really shows the average internet-IQ must be below 84. 1. The game is F2P, u get 50$ for 30$ in items you normally have to buy... (if this still doesn't ring a bell, that's 20$ you receive for free = profit) 2. Getting killed usually means the opposing team is better, it's not always hacks. Although APB:R has a fair amount of 'hackers' (read scriptkiddies), they are getting banned at a decent rate, if you come across hackers, report them instead of crying. 'hackers' never win in the long term. I still enjoy this game, even with it's current flaws. There is yet to be a better alternative. (don't you start about GTA, this is not GTA and never will be or vice versa) G1 is doing a damn well job in bringing back the game i love the most. |

Originally posted by Asheram I agree! APB would be ok if you never ran into hackers and the cash shop was not a "P2W" affair. There is no "free" in this (or any other) free-to-play offering. Let's party like it is 1863! |

Fair warning. The game is full of aimbotters and wallhackers, and the admins don't care. Also the community is quite bad. I daresay far worse than any other mmorpg I have ever played. The game can be fun if you happen to be playing against legit players, but it is a rarity. "For the Angel of Death spread his wings on the blast, |

people client mod in APB. which is harder to detect and ban.. dispite what people claim wall hacking is pretty popular in APB. as it lets u see where everyone is, then you have over powered weapons as well.
its fun off and on though, you get the odd decent match which can be pretty fun. but most of the time APB will make you rage |
