As the info stands now its 55 euro for the normal box and 150 euro for the CE. Also for the preorder its 5 euro for the normal and 20 for the CE. For me i hope there is going to be a digital version of both ant that CE has all the in game stuff of the normal CE but is prices lower and no doll, the music downloadable . Now that would be cool :) But i would love the autenticator :(

Apparently the $200 or so figure is due to it being the Polish version that was noted. If you calculate the exchange rate from the Polish currency to the US dollar its equal to about $76 US dollars which put it in line with the typical CE cost. EA and Bioware would be idiots to release it at that price unless they want to sell very few. That is a huge price jump from the regular edition to the CE. |

There is a threat on the offical forums that has a poll about who is going to fork over the 150 dolllars and a lot are willing :) so this is a ideal way to test the pricing :) "Believe nothing. |

I doubt this is real. Im more concerned with their "No open beta" stance. Having been burned by buying a couple of games w/o beta or getting to see the game first-hand before purchase, I will not be buying this if I do not get a beta invite. Boba Fett-"Reality doesn't care if you believe it." |

If they listen to a few hundred or so people on their forums, its even worse. The question is if they are willing to try and push a consumer right now into forking over this much money. As someone who is a HUGE TOR fan, a huge Star Wars fan, a huge Bioware fan and often buys CE's (WOW and all expansions, WAR, AOC, Vanguard and RIft), I will NOT spend more han $99 on a CE. Period. |

People who frequent forums of a game that is not released tend to be the most "passionate" one way or another and not representitive of their future player base as a whole. |

The Collector's Edition is currently priced at 150 Euros, which would be about $220 USD.
Collector's Edition at $220 USD!?!? rofl...I can buy into the beta testing for less than that, which would probably come with all those goodies just for being a tester.. . .
. . .and I thought STO was a rip-off after having played it. I haven't even played SW:TOR and I feel the presence of the Rip.

If the $220 comes with any type of "subscription included" that would be nice. However, even without it, I would likely still spend the $220. |

The rumored price I saw was 150 euros, which means 150 usd. Why? because if you go look up the Razor stuff for tor they are selling them, as dictated by their partnership with EA/BioWare for the same ammount in both USD and Euros. So I'm pretty sure that the CE will be 150 usd making it = to the special legendary editions of modern games like Halo and Gears. |

A barc speeder on the other hand, that's sleek. Banegrivm |

Lot of people I assume would even pay $400+ for the collectors edition. I remember people paying a lot of money on eBay just to get the preorder mount and weapons for age of conan and that wasn't even with the game. They can mark it up to whatever price and the people who wanted the collectors edition will still buy it.

Been doing some "research" and it would seem that the 150E, 200$ w/e price is actually a placeholder, considering they don't have the actual price yet. The same site has Uncharted 3 for 150E also, it's their placeholder price it seems. |

It has been reported [from not-100%-trusty-sources, granted] that the CE will be around 150€, but this does not mean that would be $220. Most likely it will be around $150 in the USA and 150€ in Europe. Yes, they always do this to us euro-players :( |

I still wish you got a minion to follow you around saying random things like "Look sir, noobs!" when you run around people lower level than you. "If at first you don't succeed, excessive force is probably the answer."
