For all the disgruntled EVE players, here is a game where you can loot people in space for real money. You don't have to carry anything with you that they can loot if you lose a fight. Ships and weapons cannot be looted. It's no-risk ganking. Entropia Universe just introduced Space and the whole thing is lootable PVP. There are safe zones around each of the 4 planets space stations, but all the space in between is free for all PVP and you can loot other players after you kill their ships and take goods from them. These goods can be sold and ingame currency can by converted to real world dollars and can be cashed out of the game. The game is free to download and no subscription. Flying fighter type ships takes no skills - let me restate that - 0 ingame skills. You buy a ship and go into space and you can shoot people up who have little experience with internet spaceships and take their goods from them. You have very little risk if you lose a fight since you won't be carrying anything they can loot from you. You will probably have to deposit some bucks to get started. I estimate $50 to $60 would be enough to start and if you can loot someone with enough goods on them, you could buy more ships and outfit some friends for no cost. This fleet could then expand as you loot more people. Some luck would be involved as to hitting someone who was carrying anything that was lootable, but someone has already posted on one of their planet forums that they lost goods in the 5 figures PED (in game currency 10 PED = 1 dollar) so at least $1000 dollars worth... If you lose a fight it cost pennies to repair your ship. Some research would be required to learn the best way to do this. These people would be unprepared for EVE style fleet actions and the tears would be flowing. Game mechanics are primitive at best, but if you can loot people for real money, that might make up for it a bit. Easy prey for the pirates of EVE. Corp theifs might do well here, spying would be childs play. It takes 30-45 days to get money back out of the game, but if you do it for the tears and build up a large fleet, you could virtually shut the game down as far as space travel goes. There are only 4 planets in their "Space" system so just blockade the oldest planet Calypso where most of the playerbase is located. The player base is smaller than EVE and these people spend money on virtual items like crazy. Here list of fools paying up to $9000 for internet spaceships. A fighter killed one of these ships a few days after it was sold (ships aren't destroyed, you can repair them, but they wear out eventually if they get blown up enough times). List is from the Planet Calypso forum and figures listed for ship prices are in PEDs - so 90k PEDs = $9000. This is more complicated than I can explain here but check it out for yourself.
