Players come for the game, but they stay for the people- Most Devs have forgotten this. |

Bored rigid of them all tbh. |

You know, the primary antagonists in Rift are these incomprehensible forces of chaos, each maintaining a domain of their own. Their true forms are unknowable, and what we fight of them may very well only be an "aspect".
Check out my blog, Adventures in Atys! |

My friend has a bearded dragon. It looks cool but it's boring as hell. All of my posts are either intelligent, thought provoking, funny, satirical, sarcastic or intentionally disrespectful. Take your pick. |

Originally posted by Creslin321 IT's possible that TSW would have this. seems like the enemies are going that route of sorts. Especially with the anything is possible motto. Plus in *spoilers* Dreamfall the big bad was some kind of a gooish mass called the undreaming *end spoiler* So it's entirely possible with what happened in Dreamfall that the big bad could be something other then a dragon in that game, one can only hope. |

No, not sick of dragons. And whats the point anyway, sick of dragons? everything has been done, many many times. there wont be any new ideas anytime soon, games might get better over time but, the concepts will allways be riding the coat tales of Tolkien & Gigax. So you make dragons look like big red robot dogs & elves look like aliens & you know what? its still the same 'ol thing. |

Not really. But I am sick of big boobed girls in schoolgirl uniforms with oversized eyes and blue hair and everything Manga/Anime style. Everyone has their taste. |

Originally posted by Jianyu LOL, ironic :). Still, I don't think that dragons satisfy the "extremely alien" part that is normally included in the Cthulhu mythos. Lovecraftian monsters are usually amorphous which helps reinforce the whole "unknowable evil" thing since once you give something a shape, it becomes more concrete. Are you team Azeroth, team Tyria, or team Jacob? |

Haha, half and half. I am sick of dragons being the evil monsters. Ya know, I always liked and adored dragons. I am sick of seeing them as the next big bad mob. "Things weren't better in the past. But a lot of things were GOOD, and they would STILL be, if people had stopped the fuck messing around with them!" |

I'll never get tired of Dragons, they are one of my favorite mythical creatures of all time. Vault-Tec analysts have concluded that the odds of worldwide nuclear armaggeddon this decade are 17,143,762... to 1. |

Originally posted by Bladestrom I'd actually argue I see way more of this; General looking mobs made slightly larger; and boss elves even in non-fantasy games; Than I see Dragons now a days. MORE DRAGONS!

Picture if you can... At the end of a long raid, you creep into that final room. As you and your 40 buddies survey the huge chamber, something small catches your eye... KILLER RABBIT!!!! - Al Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse. |

GW2 Dragons, at least the major ones, are a force of nature. Heck, them just flying over the land causes destruction, they don't even have to think about it. It's like us walking past some ants. Anyway, I like Dragons....and Ninjas. |
