Reasoning against it is a waste of time so I won't be doing that anymore. The only medicine is EVE abstination for at least a year.

All MMO's have microtransactions,  and even most non-mmo RPG's are starting to have DLC.

As an eight year old EVE veteran I have luckely become mostly immune to this condition , though I must admit I have been there many times in the past myself.

 Omg ! .... an 8 year old kid playing EVE  .. are you a gifted child or did you Dad teach you to play ....  ?  :p

I am heading back in game. I need to start preparing for Dust Bunnies with Dust 514. And for walking in stations  I cant wait for the mini game called "sec wars". I hope they did not ditch it. It will be  a much later addition in cantinas I believe.

you can label me any way you want , but im not bitter at all, i dont feel it anyway. im simply realistic and not stupid enough to pay for this game (that has become trash over the last few years due to a misled and delusional dev team).

Still subscribing, still actively playing. Incarna, so far, hasn't added anything really - and as such, I've turned off my station environment. ;) (Although, this is also partly due to the fact that when I have two clients running, my laptop starts telling me to shut down programs for memory. :P)

Looking forward to the continued development of this. People've been screaming for WIS for years (even back when I started). Now they get a taste of that.

RE: Vets leaving. Meh. "Vets" complain, and have been "leaving" for the better part of the last five years. It's no surprise. Vets leave with every expansion, some come back, some don't. - I wish I knew 'em, so I could have their stuff^tm :P

In fact, with vets leaving and new players coming in, it allows for some change in the dynamics of the game. If enough "vets" leave, some of 0.0 will open op for new players.

To be honest, though, there are things I'd love seeing CCP working on besides Incarna. But they're doing good so far. I'm loving team Gridlock for their techblogs and improvements. Mostly because this is what I'd have CCP work in; improving and repairing old features.

But you can't have everything your way. CCP is doing good, it's a pretty hard balancing act. They're acting on what their playerbase wants (at least for a big part), trying to add feaures "we" have been asking for.

P.S. Even Vets have been asking for WIS for years. Now that CCP adds the first step towards WIS, they complain that it's not what they wanted. Tough luck, atleast CCP is listening - and not just doing their own thing.

I seriously hope no one will resub just for the Captain's Quarters. It's a very poorly coded, slow interior of a hangar, where you strut about with your character very clumsily. It adds nothing to what we already had.
