Eartrhrise does have performance problems, the client is still not well optimized. I would suggest that you chose custom settings for better performance. I used to play on your configuration before upgrading to GTX580 and the game ran smoothly. My suggestion is to turn off HDR and shadows and AA (medium settings have AA, which is not needed).

One more thing about performance - those videos were shot on a PC wil lower specs than yours and there is no such thing as freezing or low performance. It may be on your side:

About the rest of your problems - I did play in the past few days without experiencing things such as disappearing mobs or client crashes. Such problems existed back in February.

You can always write to support and ask about that or ask the forums when you get your forum account (still need support for that I guess)

I have serious problems with the game, i just bought it yesterday and havent been able to play it in any sort of stable way at all. I have a good system:

 

GF295GTX

12 gig ram

2 x quadcore 2,6

and a SSD for windows where this game is installed on.

3/ forum account not created, i can login to the website but not into the forums, hence not ask about my problems.

 

4/ NPC's randomly dissapear and then i have to logout and back in to get them back, but after doing that just yet i get a zone server error and since then i cannot get back into the game anymore.

So beware, expect serious problems if you want to play this. Seems the whole playerbase left because of performance problems.

 With all due respect OP all you had to do was come here to these forums and read a little prior to buying.  People have major issues with the game's performance as well and have been very vocal about it.

Stop tellng people that the game is in a pretty good state: IT ISN'T!

The game doesn't run flawless on rigs matching the recommended hardware specifications given and there's still a ton of bugs that really ruin the whole expereince even more. Server-Client-connection is aswell pretty rubbish when you're not living on the US-eastcoast, for whatever reason that is.
Furthermore for a FPS-style game it's not acceptable to have 200ms ping (I'm sitting in western europe with perfect infrastructure!) to the server and when I check the connection and trace the route, then the problems are on the last mile, i.e. the server!

I also live in Europe and have 0,I repeat 0 lag. Yes, there were fps issues on my old rig and yes, the game has bugs, which game hasn't, I am just tired of reading the same crap on those forums. If you defend a game you are either a fanboy or developer. If you are attacking and hating a game, you are a real world hero, the uber guy, who said the truth, nothing but the truth.

I am saying, leave for everyone to decide for himself if they release a trial.

I just bought the game a few days back to and so totally wish I had not.  Its really not a very good game what so ever.

 I'm sorry but you really need to stop telling people this kind of stuff.  The game is laggy and IF YOU DONT SUFFER FROM Lag, the game is still too buggy and needs major fixes.

Money doesn't grow on trees and telling people this game is in a "good state" is tantomount to taking their money out of their wallets.

That's simply not true.  I can't think of a single aspect of the game that's in a "good state" except for the environment.  Everything else is absolutely atrocious.

People, don't waste your money.  This game needs a solid year of development before it might approach something worth twenty or thirty bucks.

People only need to have half a brain to look at the game footage and some reviews to easy find out this game is an amateur piece of turd like many new mmorpgs out lately, Mortal Online etc...

Amateur coders, with no skills or money to make a good game.

So when there is a patch that you don't like everything is bad. Just a month ago you were saying that the game is worth it and people should try it. How quickly people change their minds.

Yes the game has problems such as low population and lack of frequent patches, but you are too extreme to say that nothing is ok.

Servers are stable, there is no lag (at leat for me), combat system is fun.

The more information I read about this game, the less likely I am to ever want to play it.  About 2-3 months before the game came out, I had a strong belief it would be garbage.  Thank you for taking the time to post another thread about the problems you face.  Hopefully, they will be resolved by Masthead.  In the meantime, the rest of us know not to waste our money on a problematic product.

 Lag aside, it's a shallow game and not worth paying for at the moment imo.

If anyone is curious, I just saw this game on sale for $15 at gamersgate.com.  There are even negative reviews about the game on that site.  I must say that even at that price, it's probably still not worth the HDD space.
