www.livestream.com/exoticoccult As a fan of the action mmorpg genre, I go out of my way to get foriegn accounts and test the games that may hit our shores one day. All recorded videos will also be saved so that it may be viewed at a later time by anyone interested. I feel I must announce, I do not speak Korean nor will I understand any words on the screen unless i've already figured it out. So anyone who wants to help, Thanks! So what do peope think? Combat seems fun, but I get too much of a GW1 vibe from the instancing. It says freemium not sub to me.
Music is great, graphics are FFXIV (enviroments) meets AION (NPCs) meets Terra (Combat animations), npc interactions are alas, walls of text, nice video option on skills info window, but a lot of the UI is standard. The destructive objects seems pointless. I hope there's more social elements to this. Compared to archage this doesnt feel as much of a step forward. I guess it will appeal to the action fans. |

The game is a free 2 play with a cash shop, to my knowledge the cash shop mainly deals in appearence modifying attire.
Furthermore I'd like to thank the 20 or so people who stopped by to watch I enjoyed the conversations and had fun providing a service to others with similar intersts. Definately considering making it a regular thing as I have a list of games that i'll be getting my hands on. The stream is coming down so I can sleep, when I awake i'll start it back up with possibly a more stable stream. I'll look into Justin.tv but if anyone else has a recommendation i'd enjoy hearing it.
keep in mind, all gameplay videos are on demand. free 2 watch. have a blast "Sometimes people say stuff they don''t mean, but more often then that they don''t say things they do mean" |

I found this very interesting, I hope you do more, I was EKore by the way. If it is f2p then i will get it for sure, I am more of a sandboxer, but I like a change in pace like this. |

I've got to say, as an action MMORPG C9 is looking more impressive than TERA. Just going by the live stream, I know little to nothing about C9 The ACTUAL size of MMORPG worlds: a comparison list between MMO's |

Originally posted by MMO.Maverick As someone who has played both, i'd say the combat in C9 is much better than Tera... now if only I could break this language barrier and figure out how to pvp in the arena =( "Sometimes people say stuff they don''t mean, but more often then that they don''t say things they do mean" |

Originally posted by Tailz2k7 C9 have much better combat system than Tera, in fact is the best combat system you can find in todays market. Anyway, why you want to pvp in the arena? the best part of C9 is that you can pvp while doing dungeons, you can even attack other people dungeon instances, its a bit of pain because the lag but its fun as heck. The only problem about C9 ( besides lang. ) is that the world its not open, its very similar to GW in that way, so Tera give you more freedom to explore. |

This. Open world is huge in the west. I saw a PvP video of an assassin fighting someone else in arena in c9 and it looked plain fun. The guy was doing little flips and tumble rolls all over the place. It was fantastic. |

I found it disappointing, there's no Open World PvP in c9 (as far as I know). I've always loved a reputation based system where people can be ranked by kills earned, honor or status, sort of like WoW & AION's system of ranking players. If it had that, this game would be the total package. |

It have ranking in pvp, but how in heck can have open world pvp if it dosent even have open world? :) You can attack other people when they are doing pve, so their pvp its as open as can be, if you are making an instace and are agree then someone can pvp with you in that instance and you get more gold and exp for the risk. |

Webzen are notorious for their cash shops milking every last penny out of it's payers, you only need to look at their other games to see how agressive they are. Their cash shops contain so much stat boosting items that players who do not use it stand very little chance against those who do, even their so called cosmetic items have stats like skill block, physical resistance, +damage etc. Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat them. |
