plasma = purple

chemical = green

energy = no real color, u can only distinguish this damage when u only get hit by it in close range

impact = if it's long range, small pieces of death hitting ur ship...  it's projectile impact ammo...

explosive = when u get annoying shakes with massive damage to ur shields.... range 4.5-10k....

EMP = grey, damages reactor and shields but not ur hull *annoying piece of !@#% when ur low level*
