Theres no colored people in this fantasy.    Now before you lock this thread mod,  understand this is a valid complaint.   They have effectivley destroyed w.e. immersion there COULD be for me.  And alienated a huge possible chunk of playerbase.    Cant F***ing wait for Starwars ToR.     These type of games are so 90's.  :)  Dont get me wrong im still gona try this 7 day trial.   But Definite PET PEEVE X 3000 to the power of 6 trillion. 

The closest I can get is on the evil Defiant team as a Bahmi.  Its like FOX News directly funded this archaic design for "immersion".

what sucks is it's a fuggen Pyromancer fest. You literally CAN NOT WIN unless you have equal or more pyromancers than the other team.

They are pathetic, and routinely oneshot/2shot ANY class.

They ruin pvp. Do NOT waste money on this game if you plan on PVPing.

Im in the character creator right now (alt-tab)  annnddd unless you have some special kind of unlocked skin color textures from the original ones the game supplies.    Maybe  a mod installed?   You can only be tanned.    Not even really tanned,  just like i see the sun when i need to tanned.

Well if that is what he meant, then my last post was fail. But why would it make him so mad if you couldn't play a blue, green or purple charecter on Guardian side? Yeah it is fantasy based but that does not mean because it is fantasy that both sides should have toons that you can make look like a crazy cartoon charecter. idk, just My opionion. But deffently does not make the game fail

Do you fellow gamers think this is a valid complaint?  Or do i come across as just another crazy crusading human rights activist?   taking it to far in a video game?      For me its all about the imerrsion,  I have a passion for video games and thats important to me.   But imagine trying to get into games like RIFT or say Lord of the Rings Online,  and having constantly running into  this... so.... annoying.  Even helbreath had a better character creator.

Im still gona play as a Bahmi.. and use this to fuel my war on the "light" side.   bastard pricks.   Bend the KNEE,  Such is the American way Yeehaw

Btw. Defiant is not Evil. Defiant just dosen't beleave in God, or "Gods"

Basically, anyone would really tell you the only difference between the two sides is beliefs

( Guardian= Religion )

( Defiant= Science )

Thats it. No Evil. The only Evil is within the players themselves and what both sides are fighting against

Actually you're wrong about Defiants. Both Guardians and Defiants believe that the higher deities of Telara exist (called the Vigil). It's hard not to, they have a very strong presence as in being there all the time either as themselves or though the angelic powers. So this is not an issue of belief in them but a belief in whether the deities can actually assist Telara or not.

Guardians have placed their feith into the Vigil as the primary force of the world salvation.

Defiant know that the Vigil exist, but don't believe that they can or want to help the Telarans in the war vs the Dragons. So they resorted to science to give them the necessary tools to try and fight the Dragons.

You'll notice that both Guardians and Defiants have clerics. The powers bestowed to those clerics are both coming from the Vigil. However, while Guardians get their powers through their feith, for Defiants it's a matter of transaction, of give and take between the two parts. Or perhaps, because they are drawing their ascended powers from guardian souls, who are still connected to the Vigil.

Yeah you're right. I am wrong again. I thought thats what it was. I looked into the story. Pretty good. Still dosen't make the Defiant Evil.

Couldn't tell you. I haven't played a Warrior yet. I just started a couple weeks ago also, so im just now figuring things out. Do some google search on it. Also. The actualy Rift website should have a section that talks about all the classes

I dont see the problem...if the gameworld isnt diverse enough to create different levels of pigmentation, why would the population be of different colors?
