OK What I want is simple yet unique and I really dont think the exact thing exists but I guess there might be similar ones *HUGE!! world and I mean really god damn huge *No flashy stupid childish colorful graphs *Housing or any stuff that I can interact with the world *Doesn't matter if fp2 or p2p * Shouldn't be under populated *Ok this is the most important, The game should give the feeling like you are exploring and trying to survive or like you are a traveler, a vagabond or anything that will make you look different from other players I mean I hate all the players got the same role in games, I want to be an explorer not someone doing raids 7/24.
Well the last criteria is so far the most important one and I hope this exists.
Thanks in advance Seigard-

The problem I see is: "huge world" + "not underpopulated" + "no childish graphics". Childish graphics attract players more than grim realistic ones. So a game without them would have in general a lower population. Now take the "huge world" you want, and spread the small population over the world, and then you have a seemingly underpopulated game. Or in other words: I doubt those three attributes can fit to a single MMORPG. The closest I could think of would be Fallen Earth.
*HUGE!! world and I mean really god damn huge Yep, it got a huge world.
*No flashy stupid childish colorful graphs Nope, they are pretty realistic and grim.
*Housing or any stuff that I can interact with the world Well, they introduced a construction profession, but I think you can only build temporary camp places with it.
*Doesn't matter if fp2 or p2p It's p2p.
* Shouldn't be under populated As mentioned before: "huge world" + "no colorful graphics" -> no thick population. How many people there really are? No idea, haven't played it for a while. Install the free trial and check yourself.
*Ok this is the most important, The game should give the feeling like you are exploring and trying to survive or like you are a traveler, a vagabond or anything that will make you look different from other players Dunno if you actually look different. But exploring there is fun, and the feeling of survival too, when in the midst of the desert you ran out of gas (or horse feed if you got a horse). Let's play Fallen Earth (from launch to present) |

Originally posted by maji I dont' think that's true. well, unless you are talking about showing blood and skin and dismemberments then that would be true. stylized graphics wear better over time. If they are "child like" (because not all stylized graphics are child like) then that might be non threatening to younger players. However, If the game had realistic graphics then it could still have a larger population. Maybe not a larger population of children. |

Originally posted by summitus True, and I was going to suggest that as well. However, it does have a smaller population. They are dedicated as I keep running into people saying they can't get enough of Vanguard. but it is a small population. And unfortunatley the game is down because of Sony's woes. |

Vanguard fits many of the requisites that you are looking for. However, as much as I have loved the game, I am not going to recommend it to you. The game is pretty much dead, population is really low and SOE has no interest whatsoever in rolling new content or fixing any existing bug. Ryzom could be an option too, tho the graphics are a bit cartoony. However you can bet the gameplay is not childish at all. Low population here too, unfortuntaley. I have been looking for a game similar to what you are after for months and... no luck yet. All new releases are just wow-clones, F2P korean grinders and the likes, with tiny worlds, linear gameplay, geargrind, poor lore, dumb crafting, etc etc... A part of me hopes Archeage will provide us with the kind of MMO we are looking for... but another part of me is afraid it's going to be yet another disappointment.

I'd recomend Wurm Online +Huge world +Fun to explore +Great crafting including house building, terraforming, and ship building +Nice and helpful player base +Survival system (you must drink and eat food periodically) +Open Skill system -Only decent graphics -Bad animations -Large learning curve -Some dated game mechanics -Small player base It has a trial so I'd check it out. Its not for everyone but thier is truely nothing like it. |

By what you want, Darkfall Online is the game you are looking for. It has a free trial, so go and check it. It has everthing you posted on the list, everything.
Mortal Online could also be, but Darkfall has more content and polish than mortal atm |

Mortal Online and Darkfall Online seem to be the two you are looking for. I've only played Mortal Online but this seems to really have you feeling like an explorer, adventurer, and you are trying to survive.
You could be chopping wood for a living and you are on your way back to town to turn in your hard day's work. When all of a sudden you hear horses galloping toward you. You turn around and see 4 red players unsheathing their swords. You know what they want and now you can decide how you will try to survive. You could try to fight them off, talk your way out of it, negotiate a deal, try to outrun them, or any other way you can think of. Play the free trial and see what you think. Guilds play such a big part of the game however so try to find a guild to play with because it's kinda boring roaming around with no goal after a while. Guilds help you have a goal like building something with them, attacking people with them, looking for people to rob, etc. |

Minecraft Survival Mode If I need my exploration fix, then I just start a new random generated map - and no bad community can turn me off there, since it is mostly a Single Player game. ;) |
