Kenze, thanks for your warm and fuzzy words my friend, DDO is a lot of fun and I'll be playing it more for sure. It has a great combat system and it seems to be pretty in-depth. As for the sexy voice, I'll see if I can throw in a shoutout for you in the next 1st impressions video. All the best,, Ripper X |

Hey Ripper. How is DDO for those of us who only really have time to only do solo stuff? Is DDO good for the solo person or is it really more geared towards team play? |

My favorite class is monk. Very nice not to have to depend on a healer. Currently on a break until they add more 15+ content. Havne't tried the new quest out. I hope they were as good as the past few additions. Only knock on the game is I wish AC, or armor, did something. Currently, one must have a very, very, very high AC to help even a little bit. DDO is definitely one of my favorite games, because of the combat and TR system. |

Originally posted by misles I solo almost exclusively. Once you learn the game, assuming you're not a moron, you can solo virtually any quest. Hirelings were a great addition, but like everything it takes time to learn how to use them. One tip is that DDO is very unforgiving when it comes to builds. A well built toon is expected(not taking silly feats and having at least 14 con). Once you hit 20, there are some raids that pretty much anyone can join. |

Hi Misles, As far as I can tell it's a great experience for the solo player. Having a lot of fun playing it solo right now. :) |

Playing solo depends on which type of char you are playing. A fighter will find it a lot easier to play, than a mage! Or, if you love repeating the same quests over and over forever, there are some quests that do not do that much damage to you. For example there is one where you have to go rescue some dogs, and all you have to do, is get close enough to them so they attack you, then you run back to the enterance with them following you. |

At some point i was expecting a rap song about DDO, i am sad it wasn't the case :( I loved the overview, great commenting, didn't bore me at all, altough i would have loved to hear the most concerning differences between a subscriber and a free player as i've heard there is some content which is locked to free players, mainly areas, so that might be a big wall at a certain level in the game. Also, when the game became F2P there were some players who've shown also a growing dislike towards the lack of quests at some point in the game, i cannot remember the level. Anyway, you've putten me in the mood to try the game once again! Looking forward to more overviews. Just looking around... Hoping GW2's community won't suck :) |
