Greets.
Well Haven and hearth is a great game, but the server crashes A LOT(but it's free and it's considered alpha testing)
so anyhoo i'm lookin for a game like this. sandbox you can change the terrain around you would like pvp would like ftp
basically what got me hooked on H&H is the fact you start out with nothing, and you build up yourself from the ground up. like total wilderness survival. I've always been facinated by that. So basically i'm lookin for a survival type game.
hope some of you H&H players have another game you doodle with while H&H is offline.

Xsyon is coming along nicely after a very rocky start. It is a P2P game though. "I am not in a server with Gankers...THEY ARE IN A SERVER WITH ME!!!" |

Been playing H&H a lot myself. And have to obviously agree that the server they have is nothing short of abysmal. Sadly there really isn't anything quite as good as it. As the above posters stated there are a few that follow similar settings, but lack the quality and depth of gameplay. I have heard tat the game Xyson is as close as you can get and is 3D. But is buggy as hell and lacks the better elements such as unlimited level cap. Mind you this is just what is posted/talked about everywhere. Havn't played it myself due to all the negative feedback. Best you can do atm, is wait for the H&H devs to buy a real server, and not use an apartment laptop to host the game. Also as you have no doubt heard about if your playing H&H they are comming out with Salem soon(ish). Even though it's past it's release date with no new information. JeroKane: In TSW your gear has NO stats whatsoever! But only via trinkets and talismans. Myself: Please, stop posting, I can't breath I'm laughing so hard at that statement. |

You might try Renaissance Kingdoms: http://www.renaissancekingdoms.com It's not exactly wilderness survival, more of a political/economic/military open world.
It takes a good group or friend to show you around in order to REALLY determine if you like the game as it has a pretty steep learning curve. It you want to, make an account and when you get your confirmation email pick IRELAND. Then log in to the game and go to "my mail" on the left. Then click "compose" on the bottom right and make the recipient OneShotPaddy and just tell him who you are and he'll help you through the basics step by step.
