I think it is to reduce lag since they are boasting the 1000vs1000.

imho, the game needs more bewbs.  just for the lulz.

Eh? The crusader and the dual gunners already have those. But seriously though, I actually like characters who look normal. Not with those oversized you-know-what. And I also want realistic kind of armor. The one which really covers the body. I mean an armor which covers only a few parts wouldn't realistically give the protection that its stat states, right? Good thing the priest has good sets of armor.

You clearly don't understand the reasons for having gender locks....  You do know that this game boasts 1000 vs. 1000 RvR, right?  They do the gender locks to decrease the lag.  Obviously not every MMO should do this.  But I don't play Aika just to play another average F2P mmo.  I play Aika for large scale PvP, and because the game does so while running VERY smooth.  If I want customization, and character appearance, there's other games for that....  But to me, good PvP > character customization.

Couldn't agree more. I'm one of those who don't care about gender lock. It's more on the gameplay, not the character's looks, gender, or whatnot.

Just as an asides, logged into global over the weekend just to see how the game was progressing (left a while ago out of boredom), and the place was dead.

I suspect that the few commenters on were high levels in it for the pvp, but there were no calls for Ursula parties or any of the other lower dungeons.

Is this how it is now or did I just hit a blip?

players just got spoiled with the gender customization feature in games but thaey can't be blamed. it's like complaing how tomb raider is lacking because lara croft isn't a guy

I totally agree with you. Warriors gets a kick ass armor while dual gunner gets a skimpy armor that shows her assests. If you come think about it, maybe it's the dual gunners secret weapon. To be able to seduce other characters so they'll let her win. :))))
