I would think you would be fine to start. I played for a little while. But it was taking forever to level and got bored pretty quick. From level 1 to 2 took me like 2 hours. lol. But there was alot of people tho so mobs were hard to find. Seemed like it was 1 or 2% per kill. If you dont mind the grind I say go for it. |

I actually just resubed to EQ for the prog server. It has only been out a month or so if I recall. They don't start voting for progression until 3 months out (if I remember correctly). So you will have plenty of time to get to level 50 if you want until the next expansion comes out. |

This will keep you from having to purchase them as they become unlocked through the prog server. You can also hop on the regular server if you want to start a character with all of the new bells and whistles and what not. |

I was there at the start and two weeks later some players were already max level. I soon realized that this was not even close to classic and we will never see classic EQ again. :( I give Sony credit though for trying. |

And you and I both know that Evercrack can keep you glued to your screen for hours and hours and hours. Reaching lvl 50 in that time doesn't sound too unreasonable to me without hell levels. Especially if marcro's are in as you can set them up to have a healer friend heal/buff you while you kill things as long as you have an auto clicker. |

Originally posted by ttomm46 I just checked and buying the House of Thule expansion does indeed give you all of the previous expansions as well as a ton of other goodies so you should be set to play the prog or live servers to your hearts content. |

Spelling and grammar do matter. I find your lack of real-life skills disturbing. |

Originally posted by Duvaris Yes, I believe there's an XP cap of 2% per kill. Grouping gives an XP bonus, plus of course the killing goes faster. You can also run the bardic mail delivery missions; those are good for at least 3gp per delivery and I got 5% XP from it at level 1. |
