I had a blast playing a rogue in Origins and Awakening so my first Hawke will definitely be a rogue.

Besides, unless warriors can now smash chests into bits or mages can zap them open, someone will have to pick the locks!

ok mine would be a warrior i guess. i've been playing a lot of rpg games before and most of the character class i choose is warrior or assassin based class. this saves me a lot of money because i dont need to buy potions to replenish my energy. i mean i can still fight and kill enemies just by slashing through.

Yeah, I'm a lot like this as well. I like whatever class just allows me to go batshit crazy and go postal. While I liked the mages in DA1, I couldn't ever really make myself go far into the game. I just played a 2H warrior and hacked my way through everything.

Technically, warriors and mages can lockpick in DA2, just requiring you to invest in cunning more lol.......a lot

I'd seriously consider playing a warrior in DA2. I played a mage in the first one because warriors seemed a bit to ordinary. After playing a warrior in the demo it felt way more entertaining and intense this time around. I should probably try a rogue too...

Rogue I guess. do not want mage

i vote for warrior type class. i like to use melee user anyways

well, i haven't decided which character to choose yet. i mean haven't tried playing this game yet so i still dont have any idea which character class is the best for me.

Most definitely a Warrior! When I play a RPG, roleplaying the canon comes first. Since BioWare made the Warrior the default class (based off posters, ads, etc) on every covers of DA2 you can find, I'mma play that first. Then I'll try the rest when I'm done with my first play through.

sticking to Warrior from dragon age 1:p

nah haven't decided which class to choose for now, but i guess i'll go for the melee class this time. I've been using mage class for a long time now, i guess its a good change to try out different class so that i dont get bored very easy.

Actually ... that Hawke is a Mage ! Mage Hawke is canon.
