Originally posted by MannyMana Im sure theyre out there, though likly not by anyone whos opinion about much of anything actually matters. Ive seen some negative things said here and there, but its usually by someone who either a) doesnt understand the current state of the game & know how to read forums regarding things being turned off, testing, servers bveing taken offline for fixes & testing, etc b) likes to have their hand held by mommy even more in the virtual world than they do in the real world. You know the ones that would be the ultimate hardcore addicts of any MMO that actually had a feature which required you to suckle on the teat of a virtual rendering of your own mother for hours on end. |

Originally posted by MMO.Maverick Well, we hope we did... Things could always go horribly wrong after the launch, but hopefully the staff keeps up the great job theyve been doing. Im sure most of us realize there will be bumps along the way, but if they stay as dedicated as they are to making it into a great game it will all work out in the end. My biggest hope for improvement in the near future will be the combat. I know i know, the games not all about combat. But personally my biggest reason for playing MMOs in the first place is PvP. If they can improve the combat and everything works well with the tribal warfare systems and such, ill be extremely happy. I can terraform the world itself AND make people my virtual bitches, what more could i want :-P |

I can understand why PvP'ers would want the combat to improve quickly, but if he wants to make it like Mount & Blade then he should take his time, to do it right, even if it means that it takes a few months extra. Besides, if I understand it correctly the Prelude phase has a heavier focus on cultivation and tribebuilding anyway.
Furthermore, I hope he recruits some extra guys, seems to me the interest has exceeded their expectations and estimations, if he keeps working on it in a too small a group for months putting all the workload on too few heads, then he'll be using himself up, which would be a shame. i admit it looks nice..... but playing a game that tries to imitate exactly the real life makes me feel i am not playing a game. i guess its not for me... All who plans to get it, have fun ;) |

Good video, but you should of given the game more of a day before talking about it. There isn't much to do in game right now than build. The PvP safe zones are a neucance, lack of all tool tips is a pain, supposedly quality doesn't play a part in item variation, etc.
