I have not played the beta of Rift but would like to know how it compares to Warhammer. I really liked Warhammer but wish it has more of a seamless world and was a little deeper in regards to crafting and end game. In your opinion how do they compare? Is there realm vs. realm type PvP? Scenarios? Public quests? Non-LFG PvP? |

I think your thread is going to be locked. There is an official Rift vs everything thread the mods here are pointing everyone to for this topic. (DISCLAIMER - The use of the word YOU in the above post is not directed at any one person in particular, but towards those who fall into the category itself - there is no personal attack here, neither intentional nor implied.) |

In b4 lock...I just want to reply that if you enjoyed Warhammer Online as I did, you will enjoy RIFT more imo. |

Rift has better PvE so far. I like the combat a little more too. They have Warfronts, which are pretty much just scenerios. One thing, I liked about Warhammer, is you could level a character, and get good gear doing it by doing nothing but PvP. Rift doesn't have the same open world RvR system, so you will be missing that. The rifts are pretty much PQ's but they spaw all over the place and some are tied to events. Kind of solved the problem with not being able to do the pq's in WAR when the zones were dead. Crafting is WoW like. Better than WAR but nothing special. Try the open beta this week and see for yourself. |
