I decided to jump head back into SWG I was playing the trail and decided why not I do have a few simple questions if you read my previous post I played on bloodfin now I know no free server transfers I was thinking about paying for one my question is if I transfer my unlocked slot character does he stay and unlocked slot character? Next I've been debating on what server to play on since Bloodfin is basically a graveyard inside of a ghost town. I've been thinking about Chilstra  (i feel i butchered that) or Flurry Starstrider seems great but I don't want to deal with crashes or lag often, unless those are all just rumors i've read about.

As far as moving the unlock slot,i think this is how its still done:

"If I have three characters on one galaxy, can I move all three to a galaxy where I did not unlock the third character slot?

Yes, if you don't have any other characters on that destination galaxy. Transfer the unlocked character first, then after the transfer, use the /occupyUnlockedSlot command to make that the unlocked slot character on the destination galaxy. There are now two free slots on the destination galaxy to transfer the other two characters as normal characters."

This isn't the total amount of players,just those that have ranks in GCW.

Well that is good news at least, now I just need to decided on a server to play on starstrider is one I want to avoid but am somewhat drawn to try due to population.

Curious why you want to avoid Starsider.

Heard its over populated and it has server lag and crash issues, those are all rumors of course if its untrue than maybe SS is were I will go, I just want a place were PvP is balanced, a helpful community and guilds. An judging from my 20 hours back Starstrider seems to be the only server that isn't one sided in PvP.

Fan of SW but never tried , giving trial a whirl  . read a lot of stuff posted here and elsewhere .

Starstridder lags now and then and gets rubber banding issues. Most just sit around in towns like the folks do in WoW. Which helps the rubberbanding issues a lot more along with log. To many people congregating in 1 spot. Not enough people going out and about.

I haven't played SWG in a while now, but waiting for The Old Republic is starting to get to me, and I'm still on the fence with RIFT at the moment, so I'm also thinking of giving it "one last go."

In any case, I need something Star Wars to play again. Not much can fill that void, except another SW game.

I've enjoyed myself since the time i've been back I haven't done much of pvp or heroics since i'm grinding up a new char, i've found myself crafting mostly and gettings everything in order from where i left off. Looking forward to playing more.
