This sounds surprisingly interesting tbh, definitely looks like a game I would go to in order to get my PvP fix. As noted in the article, everything depends on what happens with the MT though and how cool the combat is. |

Skill learning even while offline... PvP centric...
This looks like land-based combat Eve-Online version |

Game sounds very interesting. Nice that it is not a serious atmosphere. Should help people to not go overboard in pvp. |

Sounds not that bad. But as always I'm gonna wait and see what will happen with this game. I learned you better never follow a hype in mmo-world. ------------------------------------------------------------------- |

Sounds interesting. I signed up. 1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical. 2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself. 3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose. |

Well I have to say I have been interested in this one from the moment I heard about it a few months back. I just signed up for beta, with any luck hopefully I'll be joining some of you in some battles soon enough :) http://medias.luna-atra.fr/gw2/char_tool/CT_imageGenerator.php?pseudo=Tarak&lang=EN&code=&code=TSwtLDIsLSwzLC0sNCw5LDEzLDE0LDE1LC0sMTMsMzUsNDksNTAsNTc%3D |

meh......yet another glorified deathmatch game based on gank fest pvp....no thanks pvp = lazy development Why create create original fun and refreshing content when we can have everyone run around and gank each other while giggling like a horny school girl? So lets have the mindless lemmings create their own "content". |

.....and to add another meh, yet another f2p game for the cheap bastards that can't spend 15 bucks but can spend more than that each month for f2p trinkets. F2p benefits the developer.....not you, unless you're cheap. You'll spend more on texting but spend 15 on a game? No way! Thats crazy! o.0 |

Originally posted by Spiritof55 I'll have to say to each their own. If you do not enjoy PvP, then I'd wager that Faxion Online is not the game for you. But for some people, they do prefer PvP. For example, while I liked the BFBC2 single-player storyline, it was the multiplayer aspect that kept me playing the game for hours and hours (and hours). Personally, I find fighting a (human) opponent much more challenging and rewarding than one driven by Artificial Behavior. Not to say the latter isn't fun and I do that, too. But, at the end of the day, my favorite battles have always involved players, not NPCs. - Sean Sean "Ashen Temper" Dahlberg |

It looks very interesting Ashen, I just may have to give it a try. I do hope though that if you learned one lesson from Shadowbane, it would be that bug fixing trumps new content.

Originally posted by Bullwraith I'll have to admit, I learned many things from Shadowbane. That was a lesson I want to say I learned prior to then but sometimes you have to go with the direction you're given and not the one you want to go. That said, the crew here is very much about making a solid and fun foundation and aggressively tackling any issues that arise via testing. - Sean Sean "Ashen Temper" Dahlberg |

additional skill training queue slots can be purchased, and skill training itself can be accelerated by one hour per True Coin if a player desires. This sounds dangerously like pay to have a more powerful character' (pay to win if you must). How can a non pay character ever compete with one that has accelerated skills? |
