anyone get this feeling when playing...simple question. It also has some feelings of other games mainly WAR, Mortal combat, and dragon age playing: Dragon Age |

Well dragon age had seriously underwhelming graphics and rifts are much better. Being that DA is classic fantasy settiing you could make the argument that every fantasy mmo resembles it. RIFT has quickly earned a reputation for looking and playing like many mmo and RPG predecessors. Yet I feel it stands strongly on it own.

What similarities do you see between Rift and Dragon Age? I'm genuinely curious. I loved Dragon Age, so if there really is a similarity it would up my interest in Rift. |

Look up some 720p quality vids on YouTube. This should help anyone decide what the game reminds them off. Personally I thought of the original GW when I first got in as GW looked really good when it released in 05. That being said it looks better than GW or any other mmo out right now. It looks like warlotroconanwowgwaion to be honest.

just the look and feel...the games are different, iam talking cosmetic and feel.
Ill add another game to the list....Titan quest, specifcally the soul system
So we have Warhammer + titan quest + Dragon age = Rift. Notice WoW is not there, this game feels nothing or is nothing like WoW playing: Dragon Age |

Not sure about Mortal Kombat but It totally has the look and feel of Ghost Busters in the first dungeon. There are also many mobs that look like ghosts in the game and in the first dungeon you can even use a beam of energy that looks strait out of ghostbusters as well. "I ain't afraid of no ghost!" : ) |
