I'm guessing this would depend entirely on the game and genre. I've found many a hot girl on RP games and many not so hot, but then you have to remember it is the same for men, eh? I think the hottest geek girl was the little known computer hacker on Hackers. Little known until today of course as she goes by the name Angela Jolie.

I think this thread is beyond silly too! But just to put my two cents worth in..  I don't want to sound conceited but I know I'm cute and I've played text based games as a hobby for 8 years and still loving it. Because it's fantasy rp, I try to break the mold with what I am IRL and make my characters scruffy, wild and messy looking. Bottom line, texty hot girls can do ugly good and put mmorpg girls to shame.

No. But sharing interests is good of course, particularly if it is something that take so much time.

So if gaming is your only interest finding a girl/guy who likes the same is a good idea. But I dom't see how that would make them "hotter".

Yeah, Lol that episode is rather close to the truth. But they played more than 3-4 hours a day, if you scrap stuff like TV and do something a bit more physically challenging as well there shouldn't be any problem there.

But I do know some hardcore players of both sexes that only play MMOs, unemployed with only one interest and all of them are in bad need of a long shower.

We play MMO's almost everyday together. I find her quite beautiful.

 It's a reference to the game I play, New Worlds Ateraan. A TORG or Text Only Roleplaying Game. Theres a few posts here and there about it but the reason I am all about it is that you get much more mature players and more important is the intensity of the depth of roleplay.

Do you have a link? I've played other text games. Is it a Forum based? I'm not a big fan of forum based games.

 

 I think she refers to http://www.ateraan.com. It's not a Forum game but rather an actual real time multiplayer game that is  character driven intense roleplay. If you are used to TORGs then you will enjoy it immensely. If not then I would highly recommend this link: http://www.ateraan.com/tutorial/torg.html.

I found a graphic game the other day that has some light roleplay you might like as well, I just need to find the link.

Thanks both of you. I will go check it out today and let you know what I think. I'm excited to know of a good roleplaying game. Most of the MMO's where I've tried to find roleplay are impossibly kiddyland and lame.

Girls who play MMOs tend to be more nerdy, which makes them hotter in my book ;) I mean it would be hard to be together with someone who doesn't understand your hobbies and interests at all.

They actually do.  2 of my friends are with cougars...lol...

Personally at 25, I would prefer to not be with a 40 year old lady, but I am more of a family oriented kinda guy.  One friend lives with the 40 year old woman and her kids, takes care of em, the other just broke up a marraige and the cougar is now his "girlfriend".

So they do really exist.  Older women probably like younger guys just like older guys like younger women.

As far as the post goes, I smoke pot and play video games.  I love to do both, they are a fun hobby, but to narrow my selection of women down to only a girl who will play video games would be a bad choice.

I have many many other interests including playing basketball/soccer/beer legue softball with my friends, going to see shows/concerts and such, and find it is more important to have non-gaming things in common as they will influence you to get out of the house more and have more of a real social life.

Sure though, it would be awesome to meet a chick who loves pink floyd, smokes pot and plays videogames/mmos, but I try not to live in a fantasy world.

Also, going to college and working at a liquor store opens up many opportunities to meet all kinds of different women.

hot girls are usually full of problems and daddy issues. Nerd/geek girls are just plain fun, besides, little meat on the bones is a good thing. Scrawny as a scarecrow, no fun.
