One day, after a long, crucial mission, I decide to visit Alderaan for some serious R&R.
During my vacation, I start to spout words of warning in the center of a town's square. What would the reactions be like if I soothsaid something like this?: Originally posted by the Soothsayer on an Alderaanian town square:

Something tells me you might be poisoned, stabbed (repeatedly), burned and then shot for good measure. Of course I could be wrong. . . "If half of what you tell me is a lie, how can I believe any of it?" |

Would be funny if when you shouted "Alderaan will be destroyed" all the guard NPC started shooting the hell out of you lol. |

I imagine most people would blow you off as a crackpot, as they do all prophets, whether they are legitimate or fake. Although most of the legitimate ones were murdered...usually in a very brutal way. |

Originally posted by BarakIII I am safe and secure in knowing that this is a truly legitimate prediction. Unfortunately, even if I produced physical images of my future visions, anyone who sees it could pass it off as a fiction drawing, and not evidence of a true foretelling of this cataclysmic event. In case I get hurt, that is why I will not be far from my skyspeeder, so I can make a fast escape in case any trouble starts to brew. And if, as you say, broadcasting predictions on the ground is too dangerous, how about from a skyspeeder platform atop a building? (preferably no taller than maybe 3 stories.) Everyone in a 1,000-foot radius should still be able to see the message, and hopefully the guards on the ground will have a harder time aiming at me. Hmm, this would prove to be entertaining, haha. SWG had the fines from Stormtroopers when you yelled something along the lines of "I'm a Jedi" or was it Rebel, cannot remeber now. Either way, this would be funny if BW did something similar and you got fined for disturbing the peace by guards. :P |

Was a number of trigger events in SWG heh was fun just standing near stormies and shouting Imperial Scum insta incap and fine. Nothing beats /slap on vader though and being force choked to incap. |

Originally posted by thamighty213 Omg, really? Would anyone please link to a list of trigger-words? And any word on whether there will be a trigger-wordlist on SW:TOR as well? Warning: I could be on NoDoz caffeine pills so I hope I don't post anything outrageous! |

I suppose they would react the same as humanity today to the 2012 Mayan prophesy. ;)

I think if a person did that, they would be transported to Star Wars: Galaxies as a form of punishment. Lothor Crestingwalker |

I think we can expect some humorous easter eggs on the subject ingame.
Like some NPCs snide remarks not to panic cos its not as if the planet is gonna get blown up by a giant laser lol. |

No one answered my question last time: Where can I find a SW:TOR trigger wordlist? Warning: I could be on NoDoz caffeine pills so I hope I don't post anything outrageous! |

Alot of the Biblical Prophets were beaten, stoned, jailed, hung upside down to die on the cross. People dont like to hear what they dont agree with, they seem to get testy.
