We have updated our Perpetuum gallery with over forty screenshots from the game. The space-themed MMO is set to go live on November 25th so this was the perfect opportunity to have the dev team show off their best work. Check out the new screens in our Perpetuum gallery.

I am impressed with the graphics in this game. It's not exactly my preferred genre of game, but I will be interested in seeing how the game progresses after launch. All of my posts are either intelligent, thought provoking, funny, satirical, sarcastic or intentionally disrespectful. Take your pick. |

Too bad they didn't learn the lesson that APB did. Meaning that it doesn't work trying to make players pay a sub for a glorified TPS with no content. |

Maybe now they can stop whining about how MMORPG.com won't update their screenshots page. Not trying to troll or flame or anything. They seriously mention it just about every time they post here. RIFGAMERS.COM - Multi-Platform Gaming Community |

This gameshas a 7 year old targeting system that worked for its time, in space mind you.. and dropped it in a ground setting. Lock target, stay in range and let the game kill for you. The devs have all these cool little vids showing all the back and forth pvp running and crap but its all for show since your locked on. That means either someone has to be the bully and someone has to be the coward and run away, or else its we walk up and target lock each other and swap spit.
They should have went with something that fits a mech game, or could at the very least pass the smell test, something like a soft targeting system like tabula rasa had, where the lock was dependant on the crosshairs remaining on the target, and the splash dmg of missles or spread of a shotgun.
No its stand there and take it to the face, in a game where it will take a year before you really get into the meat and potatos of the pvp game. Im sure the fan will point out " thats intellegent combat mechanics" No thats called standing there taking it to the face cause, Its amature hour in the studio again. I mean who was it that got drunk and spouted " hay fellas i got a cool idea for a game." "Lets steal everything from eve.. ( looks around at everyone); the UI style the targeting system the icon style, the crafting system style the skill style.. everything... but instead of doing it in space.. We Do It In Mechs..?" " Wadda ya think eh, eh eeeeehhh!" "But john people will know its eves style and setup, how we gonna work that?"
"Ahh thats easy, we just change a few things do the icons custom, make it look like our design; It'll be great ..(waves hand)" " Whos buyin the next round, woooo!"

"The space-themed MMO" It's not space themed, it takes place 100% on the ground. Sci-fi themed yes, but space no. "Memories are meant to fade. They're designed that way for a reason." |

Liked the screenshot, was impressed by the vids. So went on and installed it.. and well, like Wardrop says it IS an Eve clone, without the space or the mass population the Eve has managed to achieve. I have to admit that I played only a bit, but the method of Primary Target Locking - you need to freaking sit and wait till the target is locked, and it's right there! What kind of progress they have in this supposedly sci-fi world that spotting a close target needs long calculations to justify this stupid Target Locking system? It's just a buzzkill. Inelegant, slow and outright dumb mechanic. Take crafting for example - you need to open like 4-5 windows, use 3 different tools, just to get some material from the ground. Unintuitive as hell, with no apparent reason. I got no problem with justified complexity, but for me this isn't one of those cases. I want a Sci-Fi MMO more than anything, fantasy starts to get boring after a certain time. But this is not a good example of sci-fi MMO. I'm still going to give this game a shot, but without expectation this time. |
