Originally posted by Ihmotepp You know what? I'm as lefty as they get, and I can't stand KO or Rachel either. I used to LOVE Olbermann when he was a SportsCenter anchor (I met him once, very nice guy), but I really find them insufferable politically. Of course, since I'm a liberal, I apparently worship MSNBC, according to the Faxxer brigade. |

Replacing Fox with MSNBC isn't going to be a big difference. MSNBC is just as guilty as CNN at being factually inaccurate. They outright lie once a day and have countless half-truths/unfounded assertions the rest of the day. Internet news is currently probably the best source. MSNBC.msn.com is probably the best source unless its Microsoft related. |

Solution: Change channel. By the way, I don't agree with you that the relevant market here is health care. You're not regulating health care. You're regulating insurance. It's the insurance market that you're addressing and you're saying that some people who are not in it must be in it, and that's -- that's different from regulating in any manner commerce that already exists out there. - Scalia |

I notice even on the local news the reporters and anchors love to slip in little editorial or emotional statements. It's unprofessional, and the newscasters of yester-year would be disgusted. Journalistic integrity used to demand reporting the news in an impassive manner. Now if something bad happens everyone involved is just too damned eager to show to the world how shocked and outraged they are. |

Originally posted by TheHatter Fox HAS to be conservative due to overwhelming majority of liberalism in mainstream and other cable companies ABC,CBS,NBC,MSNBC,PBS,BBCA,CNN,HLN,FOX BROADCAST(Yes that s right if you look at their programming they have left wing shows on there compared to only 1 show in FOX NEWs SUNDAY that is the only conservative spot they have) .There aare some others I am leavinging put probably off the top of my head but this will do for now. Also MSNBC has added another progressive liberal Lawrence Odonnel to their 10 PM slot.Cenk Yuger(sp?) filled in for KO so he may get a slot of his own down the road and does the liberal Young TURKs show/blog.Thats 4PM to 11Pm liberal shows and all democrats.I dont think Dylan Ratigan is that far left as he seems fiscally conservative but is socially liberal,I watch his show sometimes. Bill Oreilly and GlennBeck are supposed to be conservative leaning independents so who stacks the deck in the end. When Glenn Beck criticized GW Bush why was that ok and now that he goes after Barrack Obama is that not OK On a similar note about CNN ..LOU DOBBS..criticize Bush okies FIne ....criticize Obama your FIRED! I don't know why conservatives listen to what liberals say when it comes to these things because the media deck is stacked in their favor when it comes to volume amounts of coverage. Its not conservatives fault that liberal media has low viewership due to nobody wanting to hear that liberal crap to the point where they go out of business..IE. AIR AMERICA. The Fairness Doctrine is another way of through wellfare for radio liberals because they cant competein an open fair market due to failure of loyalty of their liberal audience fanbase

Hey, this is America, dammit! (Keith Olbermann said so, so it must be true). I say if people want to whine, let them whine. Just don't listen to them. Or shoot them, whichever is more satisfying. (Just kidding) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tK6YIAX1jg |

No. I have 6 More years of Bitching and moaning over nothing to make up for the 8 years of the Bush bashing. So Fuck Obama. Fuck him right up his ass hole.
If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude; greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen. |

CNN seems okay most of the time...
But my CBC will always be my favourite news source in the world..
