1) Minstrel - DAOC, my all time favorite class of any game 2) Silver Ranger - Lineage 2 - Only archer class character I ever really enjoyed. 3) Druid - WOW, truly the jack of all trades "What gamers want ... is new game play patterns different from what they've experienced before" - Axehilt |

Mage in WoW... Just thought this class was a ton of fun to play.. Mostly the ice mage, the CC was fantastic..
Iron Breaker in War.. Everything a tank should be in PvP.
Macer in UO. By far my favorite, getting into a PvP fight and outlasting someone till i bashed all their armour off was pretty cool. I can't imagine the enjoyment i would get doing this to todays MMOers who covet gear over most everything : p |

(1) Bard from EQ1 - The best class ever in any game. (2) Minstrel from DAoC - an almost bard (3) Runekeeper -sort of hard for me to pick the 3rd one This class is as close as I can come to being a sith or jedi before SWtor comes out. hehe |

1-creature handler from SWG. still havent experienced anything as satisfying as going out into the wilderness and being able to tame almost any animal you come across and have it do your bidding
2-druid-wow. I didnt really enjoy it till it got some loving after an expansion or 2, but i loved being able to do anything i wanted, be it tank, heal or dps.
3-priest, wow. pre wolk. I loved being able to heal while dps'ing as a shadow spec'd priest. Vamp embrace and shields and we could do any normal boss |

My top 3 Professions ( classes are for fantasy games 1. Fixer 2. Martial Artist 3. Engineer All from Anarchy Online. -Letting Derek Smart work on your game is like letting Osama bin Laden work in the White House. Something will burn.- |

1. EQ1 Enchanter - Mysterious, powerful, and you had to be good to use them effectively. 2. EQ1 Bard - Well done and unique. Great group members. 3. WoW Hunter - Blizzard did well with this long-ranged pet class. Honorable mention: DAOC Thane - Seeing a huge lightning bolt shoot down from the sky and into my victim is a sight I'll never forget. Serious death penalties makes every close call an adrenaline rush, and every minor achievement a major victory. This alternative rule-set should be in all MMORPGs. |

1. Ranger EQ1 - Was a class of real skill. I still carry my EQ ranger kiting skills with me to this day. My EQ ranger would whoop my WoW hunter's ass when comparing skill set vs skill set. 2. Necromancer Guild Wars - My army of the dead cometh 3. Katana/SR Scrapper in old CoH - I felt the best part was when we got over buffed and could pull a whole instance, then demolish all the mobs in about 10 to 20 minutes. OP? yes. Did I feel like a super hero instead of a regular hero? your damn straight. |

1) Fire/Kinetic Troller in CoH - It was kinda of weak when you first start out, but carries a bang at higher levels. 2) Rune-Keeper in LotRO - You can do hella damage and heal too....sign me up. 3) I hate to say it....Druid in WoW - I dislike the game, but love this class. Was extremely fun to play. |

1. Herald of Xotli (AoC) By far the most fun class i ever played. The lore was great... the gameplay was great. The feel was just.. well... Great.
2. Druid (WoW) Jack of all trades and a fun roleplaying character. Spent most of my time in WoW playing one.
3. This is a hard one...Shaman or Warrior (WoW). Why shaman? Had a great feel to it... A good jakc of all trades hybrid. Fun to play. Why Warrior? Because it felt like a warrior. Its just that simple( And it could wear or cloth types which made RP allot more fun :) ) I've been uplinked and downloaded, I've been inputted and outsourced. I know the upside of downsizing, I know the downside of upgrading. I'm a high-tech low-life. A cutting-edge, state-of-the-art, bi-coastal multi-tasker, and I can give you a gigabyte in a nanosecond. I'm new-wave, but I'm old-school; and my inner child is outward-bound. I'm a hot-wired, heat-seeking, warm-hearted cool customer; voice-activated and bio-degradable. RIP George Carlin. |

for me its 1 EQ1 Bard I loved my bard in eq1 was the only toon I really ever lvled and raided with . Loved charm kiting was fun and having Selo's was great though being able to run so fast sometimes had a downfall like turning your head away for a second and then next your falling off a cliff =/.
2 EQ2 Templar when I started playing eq2 I tryed a dirge but really didn't like that class so I switched to a templar and never looked back was a lot of fun being about to solo, in groups and raids. Being about to put out 5k dps on a raid was cool to when yah didn't have any 1 to heal.
3 I guess for this spot is a Daoc Druid for me loved my pet and being about to kill people with the right spec on was nice. |

I forgot about the EQ1 Monks.. I might have to revise my list and delete Hunter for Monk.. Give a monk SoW, and send him out pulling for your group, that was just great.. What I have noticed to far is that a lot of the classes listed are from older games.. Games back in the day that "role defining" abilities or skills made you niche.. good or bad.. Did this cause problems in some areas.. Yes.. and No.. However homoganizing everything into bland dps classes, so no one feels left out was the wrong step.. Oh.. btw.. I loved how many of you commented on the EQ1 Bards.. It wasn't one of my favorites to play because I sucked at twisting songs.. but damn.. That had to be the hardest class to play from ANY game ever.. It was complex and wanted.. There was never a group I was in that would not want a Bard if we could get one.. |

EQ = Ranger. Could take down any outdoor mob that didnt summon. Was a great class and kind of set up a trend with me ( as you will see) once you got to grips with the finer skills of the Ranger they were a fun and powerful class to play. WoW = Hunter. different take on my fav char, addition of pets was fun for a while. The fqact that you could "Tame" was the greatest oppurtunity for RP in the game. you could go for the diverse...my pet crab "fishsticks" stayed with me forever. Lotro = Warder. again another Ranger type. this one could hold his own in melee too. |
