He may have sold his stock because of the game but that just means that other people bought it. It has no direct effect on SE's income. It didn't cost them $26 million. It is a shot across the bow of SE though. |

The truth is that u are late but truth be told. At last there are some people who just cant take it anymore and they show some real psycho pain to companies. If i was upset with a game and had money power i would also have done the same or sth worse. Why?Because im upset of the whole crappy mmos that dissapoint me day by day and have nothing to play for 2 to 4 hours and entertain me us mush as a single player game does.hands down |

If gamers had all the shares in MMO companies we would be happy to get a small yearly return and any MMO to get an extra couple of years work on it to make it ready for launch. We need to attract some 'big fish' gamers to fund a MMO! |

Actually, yes it does havea direct effect. Companies sell stock for money to invest in their business, or they take out loans based on the value of their stock. They dont' sell ALL the stock in the company, typically the Company also owns stock. So a decrease in value in the stock lowers the comapnies access to capital to grow their business. |

The more you hype an upcoming game in your mind, the more it will fail to meet your expectations. |

That's how you truly vote with your wallet. It's just a shame that more consumers don't have that kind of influence. |
