Just an update on buddy keys:

I got one, and they do work during the head start. You will have to provide billing info, and to use a credit/debit card you have to set up an acct with a billing company called click and buy.

No confirmation yet on what happens after 30 days. Some think that you will have to buy a box, others think that you just start getting billed.

I am hugely grateful to Sunder_Thor for offering up their buddy key, and I hope any of the other lucky folks realize just how lucky they are. People who preordered the regular edition aren't even in game yet.

I'd appreciate a NA buddy key. I've been watching fansites to see how things are coming along, but I'm getting a lot of conflicting info, so I'm seeing if I can try things for myself. I have a Guest Pass for Starcraft II if anybody wants one in return. It's not nearly as valuable as the FFXIV pass, since it only lasts for "7 hours of gameplay or 14 days, whichever comes first", but it's something.

Hey all. If anyone still has a buddy key left over and hasn't used it yet, could ya send it my way. I'm really interested in the game. Have been for years. I just wanna test it on my pc before i go out and get the CE. The benchmark test didn't really tell me how the game will run. So if there are any left out there. Please hook up a fellow fan.

I think all the CE people have registered and started playing... and there are no more buddy passes left for people to give out. 8(

Still looking for a NA key myself, but doubt I will end up getting one. Not going to pay the $20 ebay is asking, especially since using the buddy key means you give up the 30 days included in the retail box if you end up buying it(since the buddy key already gave your account 30 days).
