Yeah, it'll strictly be extra character slots and name changes and whatnot. Just the technical stuff. I hope we start out with at least four storage panes. Two isn't enough and I hated the fact you needed to buy extras. ![]() |

Just to do not cause any confusions about this one... Q: What are costumes?

Meh, well, I take that back. Looks like NCSoft are imposing the same double dip approach onto this franchise as they did Aion after all. Looks like all those angry guys shouting at me that I get 100% of the 'fluff' content from the box were just wrong. Thats a shame. |

Originally posted by vesavius That's GW1, not GW2. As far as I've seen there's been no official info specifying that cosmetic items will be part of the cash shop in GW2. |

When you buy the box, you get ALL of the content, ALL of the armor, access to ALL of the weapons and access to ALL of the skills. There is nothing in the planned cash shop that will improve your charecter at all. No double XP coins, No mana boosters, no special weapons or mounts. The only thing in the planned cash shop is coustumes, name/server/sex changes, extra charector slots and expansions to the game (when and if any are released). Addational storage panes have not been confirmed. Guild Wars 2 is a Buy the Box to play game. PERIOD. There is no need to EVER use the cash shop. This is a design goal of the developers; "there will be nothing in item shop that affects game play, ever." Ken /|\ |

Ignore this and move along. Hes clearly making himself a completely idiot to get this kind of reactions.
Just let this thread die. "Some of the less objective people tend to be close-minded though and basically disregard any possible shortcomings that gw2 could have." |

excuse me, but it was you that was proven wrong when you suported that the box cost would cover 100% of the content (including all in game rewards) and that only game services would be extra. No need to call anyone an idiot if no one is calling you one (who would have more reason maybe). |

well, to be fair, i think it has only reached 6 pages due to the fact that so many of the game's followers arnt very clear on what the payment model will actually cover and what will be charged as an extra. |
