Originally posted by thorppes Then say me why it takes more then 10 mins to install a patch who is only 10 mbs small? :/ Dunno never experienced such crapstatic patcher. See the best doors on EvE-on! |

You're either exaggerating, or your computer is crap. It took me less than 3 minutes for the entire patch process, including the download. Regarding Besttheiswow's comment, it was either a lie, or just simple ignorance, as Thorppes pointed out, Paratus is still around. Hell hath no fury like an MMORPG player scorned. |

Great patch! The new mount is really cool. Here is a picture of it with armor added to it: |

Thanks for posting the pic. I haven't seen one of these live yet in the game. Very cool mount. The armor looks pretty good, though I still like the looks of the horse armor a bit better. Also, I haven't seen one of the beasts in action in-game yet, but the legs look a little "stiff" in the screenshots so far, if you know what I mean. Of course, it's a still picture, so it probably looks better in motion. Hell hath no fury like an MMORPG player scorned. |

They really are improving the game alot, patches seems to be very frequent. I'd almost like them to slow down frequency of the patches so they can do abit more thorough testing before releasing them, cause it seems like almost every patch breaks something. Oh well, im not playing anyway, but i probably will in a couple of months. |

Wow, another nice picture! I really like that armor in red. To Lille7: I agree that the game is getting better. They probably could stand to slow down a bit to ensure that each patch is as good as they can make it, but overall the game has been improving. As long as they keep going in their current direction, the game will keep getting better and better as a fantasy sandbox MMO. Hell hath no fury like an MMORPG player scorned. |

"I should point out that no other company has shipped out a beta on a disc before this." - Official Mortal Online Lead Community Moderator Starvault's reponse to criticism related to having a handful of players as the official "test" team for a supposed MMO: "We've just have another 10ish folk kind enough to voulenteer added tot the test team" (SIC) This explains much about the state of the game :-) |

Originally posted by Xianthos No offense intended but it would have been helpful if you had given a more complete description in the first place. The patcher works perfectly fine if you are only downloading the most recent patch. On the other hand it is a painfully long process if you are downloading and applying all the patches (Had to do that myself due to a corrupted installation and it did take several hours) It would be helpful if they consolidated some of it, such that you download a more recent build of the client and only apply the more recent patches, but they probably won't do that as long as they are coming out with a new patch every week. P.S. the corrupted client happened after taking apart my computer, reassembling it, and changing out the video card, so I suspect it had to do with changes in the hardware not faulty programming. P.P.S. sorry about Rohn's harsh response. It's just that we get used to people attacking MO OH and have fun in Nave |

As of the hotfix today, the vendors no longer crash the client. Long-range whispering was never supposed to be in the game in the first place, so it was removed. The game is getting better. Hell hath no fury like an MMORPG player scorned. |
