Lol, geez guys - no need to get defensive.  I'm gonna play the game too, but no reason I can't find a little humor in the presentation :p.  

I was poking fun at how sensationalized the Sith persona usually is in the Star Wars IP, like they are trying so hard to be the evil badasses lol.  It's that attitude I find ridiculous, not necessarily the game itself.

Btw, I just realized the Sith had his lightsaber draw while moving toward his ship because he was going to use it as a flashlight to get around once he boarded!  It all makes sense now :).

How on Earth would the lighting levels inside your ship have any effect at all on knowing where you're going? I assume one would look out a window or maybe consult a glowing computer screen to navigate.

It's one of my fears that in TOR evil will be cooler in design and story. In WAR Destro was cooler than Order just as well. *sigh*

I was talking about navigating (walking around) within the ship, not where the ship will go :p.

I can't say I agree it looks like a car, maybe the color creates that impression for you? The pic of it docked (on the TOR site) looks decent, and gives a greater impression on what you're looking at IMO. Of course tastes differ, though It's obvious to me it's an early Vette design, of the Corelian variety of course, not the Chevrolet.

Yeah, the Sith ship is probably my favorite. But don't knock the Republic side, the Smuggler and Trooper ships have their own sorta cool. :)

I love the Jedi Ship, I was so stoked when I learned that my guardian is going to be able to own that badass ship!  Kinda of reminds me of Spike's ship from Cowboy Beebop. I like the sleekness and red accent, gunning ships down in style I say.

This sucks I thought there was gonna be a bunch of different ships, but the articles say four more.   Man I keep trying to get excited about this game but everytime I read more about it, I just end up being more dissappointed.

 Yes it does all make sense now. Some people will complain and whine about anything...

Maybe they wanted the saber drawn to show it off?

I think he twrule meant while walking around inside the ship, as in bumping into things and stumbling about, when he said "see where I'm going". Not in regards to piloting the ship.

So maybe being evil, and corrupted by the dark side for so long, he's become quite paranoid and expects an ambush every time he returns to his ship? That would explain approaching his own ship on a regular basis with weapon drawn.  ;)

In any case, I like both ships. I think they both are interesting designs and just plain look cool. 

I love the looks. Can't wait to play the game!
