GW2 doesn't have enough hype behind it just yet.

It's funny that both games are nominated for best online though.

Cataclysm might not appear for best game as it's an expansion, just speculating though.

I would say it is a political decision. Both games are going to be big and hard to ignore. Since SW:TOR may due to the IP also be known to individuals outside of the MMO-sphere, the gave it the best game nomination, while GW2 received the other one. This way it creates hype for both games.

I don't think there will be a problem with SWTOR winning game of the show, it has some pretty stiff competition, and I think GT5 will have a very good showing--dare I say good enough to win.

Also, don't hold out hope for either SWTOR or GW2 to win the Online game category, Blizzard has pile nominated in that category too, and we all know how Activision/Blizzard has a way culling votes it doesn't deserve.

My assumption is that their is no footage or gameplay shown any of the new and cool features they are promoting, just videos of devs and art teams inspiring viewers. But, im sure they will get credit as this year comes to a close.

I think both SWTOR and GW2 will be great games when they finally release, despite hype or many different opinions on the matter, but the nomination process is not as important as word of mouth in this outcome.

The AoC expansion got an 8.5 by most reviewers game that expansion roughly the same score. It's a good expansion and there haven't really been many games deserving of an 8.5 or higher rating recently.

Anyway the problem is your point of view is barely backed up by any facts because you rarely state your opinions on things you have actually researched and know about. I could make up a random opinions on anything without a scrap of evidence and state it almost as fact like you generally do. That doesn't change the fact it makes me look like a complete moron to anyone that actually knows what they're talking about.

The simple lesson is argue on things you actually know about and have detailed facts about, ask politely questions about things you don't know about or research the answers yourself. Don't make assumptions on things you barely know anything about otherwise you come of as a troll.

On a different note, where are your examples to back-up your OPINION that GW2 will be like GW1?

 Guild wars 1 is the only example I need. The fact that they have not said that gw2 will not have the same world system co op as guild wars 1.  

Another thing that baffles me. Everyone on these forums are always bitching about having no restrictions, well looks like this game doesn't have alot of variety at all.    The game will be simple and small.  With super graphics and outstanding videos to lure people in.
