Players are lazy, if they have to do something again to get the result they want, they will stay single, which will impact grouping. If that does not happen too much, they will certainly play flashpoints on their own. |

I also think when we get nearer to the games release you will have a better idea of the full extent of the game and how the massive multiplayer gameplay actually works out. For now the emphasis on story telling tells me there will be enough game to make the purchase worthwhile. |

Originally posted by Nifa That's the one annoying thing about MMORPG -- here, an editor actually reading through and editing an article for spelling, grammar and content hasn't happened for years.
Thus, every article has errors that could have been easily corrected had the editors actually did their job.
I've mentioned this before, but was dissed as "picky" and told something like "that's the way the author submitted it .."
Hey, whatever. Edit the damn thing -- not only is it an editor's job, it's the professional thing to do and props this site's credibility. |

Originally posted by goingwylde ^^ This made me literally LOL. As for the 'not being able to switch sides' they better not! The second you decide to make it possible for people to jump ship in a pvp game you make it so that the cowards will always win. If they make it so that all pvp is small scale even number battles, instead of open pvp, then I wouldn't mind them letting you go through some painfully long, complicated process to join the other side as a level one character of the corresponding class. But that's about it. Especially in the realm of dark versus light. The powers are not compatible and there is no logical reason a Sith Master could somehow become a Jedi Master. He could become a really nice Sith Master on his way to becoming a padawan learner and that's about it. You can't have the rage necessary to be a sith and still be a jedi. Same for the jedi. They use totally different techniques to learn their powers. I could see letting them keep their crafting skills and ship but everything else would have to go. They would also have to make it so that it was a one shot deal. The other side npc's would permanently hate them as well. Do that and I might be ok with switching. This game looks totally badass, though! |
