I never understood what was the big deal with Oblivion. It was as bland as you can get. |

Gameplay is king. Fallout 3's greatest asset is its graphics, which are incredible, so you take what you can get. In order to make the most of your time in Fallout, you need to adopt the right frame of mind, which is anything other than sobre. Brutalize your brain with narcotic, then wander the shores of the abyss with lolling jaw and bloodshot eyes, marvelling at the perfectly corroded bones of a once great civilization, its vitality parodied in the shuffiling gait of ghouls. The best metaphor for this is your own existence as, with your brain numbed by an overstaturation on vapid entertainment, you play a computer game in your bedroom in what is most certainly humanity's twilight years, squandering your last opportunity for life experience on a simulation of one. |

Originally posted by MMOExposed In my opinion I think you need to play the fall out series.. 1 & 2 - sure horrible graphics , great for it's time though. I also think maybe you should try out new vegas when released. I am right there on the same page with you. But I never really gave fall out a chance until recently. The thing is , is that it really isn't all about the mechanics when it comes to bethesda games ... it's the story. www.roxstudiodesigns.com |
